RHPS update out Domain Holdings (TLDH) has conditionally raised £21m through a placing at 12p. This means they have a $48m cash pile plus a $15m debt facility with which to compete in the remaining 43 domain name auctions in which it has an interest.  This puts it in a powerful position to maximise the opportunities available during this “land-grab” for new domains. It’s a bit like playing poker with a reassuringly large stack of chips in front of you! The placing is said to have generated a high level of interest and the shares have responded well. Something I've mentioned previously which I believe is almost certain to take place, with indications already in place for such a transition. Retail investors will slowly be sidelined by Institutional holders securing larger stakes in the Company through Open Market purchase, thus replacing more transient private investors. The demand from larger buyers was evident in the recent placing & indicated within the RNS and other sources. The Directors hold a significant proportion of stock with the 'War Chest' now sufficient for a more purposeful assault on securing the requisite Domains. Any further stock acquisition will have to be through the Open Market, thus driving up the Share Price and adding greater stability through the progression as the overall Institutional holdings replace retail interest. Everything's being carefully planned and put into place as we move into key execution of the Company's strategy with an eventual exit via the Takeover route. More to come.

Larger, strategic investment coming in to replace smaller PI holdings. There was major interest from Institutions beyond the availability of stock as part of the placing, hence the necessity of securing further stock through open market purchashing - this will continue imho & see a transition to Institutions making a larger part of the holder base, as opposed to retail investors and as we move towards an eventual Takeover. Holding RNSs confirming the above imho.

We've seen a broad sell off across the markets with issues last week re: exposure to emerging markets, japanese trade defecits etc and yesterdays weaker manufacturing data from US. That's been a catalyst for the expected correction which was due anyway and off the blistering DOW/S&P drive in 2013. Markets may be ready for a sharp bounce now with a progression upwards after the recent drops. US pre-market looking good so far & especially significant for stocks like TLDH which have near term Newsflow, increasing media exposure as posted on with the BBC coverage etc & the Strong push that was seen prior to the wider correction and off the Strengthened base the previous RNS indicated. http://money.cnn.com/data/premarket/ Convenient Buying opportunity for TLDH stock imho - dyor etc!

Coverage will start going Mainstream as predicted with more specific references to TLDH / Minds & Machines Ltd!! Countdown to the next Applicant Auction date in a couple of weeks also & beyond the very short term macro correction the Markets have been experiencing.

The actual running cost base will be very low - refer to specialist info sources as well as TLDH's statements to that effect in the past. That's why there's such strong margin expectations!

The price earlier on looked very strong as part of the progression back upwards, until US manufacturing data impacted global markets downwards. All part of a wider anticipated market correction anyway after blistering rises on the S&P / DOW in 2013 so not specific to TLDH. The underlying stock specific sentiment looks robust, especially after the establishment of the much stronger platform to capitalise on upcoming opportunities in the auction process - as such, a good opportunity based on factors already discussed here. dyor & gla

From the info I have, the Institutional demand for stock was considerable and far in excess of that offered - bear in mind the Directors held over 20% of shares in issue. That demand will have to be fulfilled through open market purchasing as the Company have no strengthened their position considerably & in line with the aggressive strategy to maximise the one off opportunity here. In good hands with this Management team & BoD!
