The area seems to be getting BIGGER as well , 12km , I'm pretty confident as pj said its open both ends that it might be bigger in time.

I would rather this be slow and proper, gives a chance to continue loading up and making sure things are done correctly.

Forest I think there think there number of reasons that thread has been deleted , let's not forget while the thread started as a takeover 100% confirmed there was also a lot of other messages regarding different opinions too.

I think its a shame it was deleted but I know the only confirmed 100% fact to come out of that thread.

I don't think companys that bid think about where it was say 3 months ago , they will be thinking one thing how cheap can we get this , noone in this world wants to pay more then they have too on any given purchase wether it's a new car a new house or in this instance cineworld.

We could argue that it was over £2 a share once or over £3 . But currently as things stand right now IF someone places a bid it will still be during pandemic at unfortunately pandemic prices , noone will spend pre pandemic prices on a hope it reaches that.

The only good a current bid will do now is jump the s.p nicely north nothing else

Lattpulldown I actually agree , I would expect to see the price rise to around 2.30 , its what the official bid is and therefore places that value onto morrisons.

Bacanora was the same , a bid around 15 to 20 percent of the current price. Although while morrisons had a official bacanora haven't yet , just a intention.

With that in mind With a bid in cineworld plus say 25 percent its current value that only takes us to £1.05 , hence why I personally believe and again I say a big IF a takeover bid acctually happens.

With the current S.P at just over 80p I'd be amazed to see over 1.30 for a OPENING let alone 1.80.
However stranger things have happened but I can't see mooky entertaining any offer like that

A bid is only worth what someone is willing to pay , not what shareholders think thier shares are worth.

We can look at what cineworld own ,dont own , how much debt, future of films , vaccines , deaths , the weather , euro 2020 predictions unemployment and any other subject we feel is relevant and come up with a random price on what we feel is value is , I would imagine we all feel the bid should funny enough be our own exit prices.

If a company come in and offer less then majority shareholders want it will be rejected simple , if more will recommend to approve. You only have to look at bacanora to see that , who have had a completely under valued (possible)bid which is being recommended by their board. Leaving shareholders furious. We are last to be thought of in any such event.

Hyperthetically let's entertain a bid acctually comes , If it does I will be absolutly astonished it will be over 1.30 opening bid , and 2nd if we were to be level headed about this we can go on all day about what they would be getting for thier money , all the reasons why we invested right, film slate , recovery , 100 capacity cinemas etc etc , but any takeover would surly be taking on the debt as well.

The debt is a sore subject for some , but it's there , and something any potential bidder would have to look at. If we like it or not the level of debt devalues the company and any potential if any bid.

Look forward to be called a deramper or day trader now. But unlike some looking at the bigger picture.

Either way I hope IF a bid comes and I say IF mooky rejects it and the s.p moves nicely north , personally I still have all the faith in mooky , and I don't think he would sell for anything over then astronomical which I doubt is coming.

Morrrisons have had a takeover bid rejected by the board , a responce I would of loved to have seen here. The bid was £2.30 per share, its currently £1.78 , I expect the share to rocket Monday, will be intresting to see by how much.

I expect shareholders will be happy and more importantly happy with thiwr board and investment , s.p will rise and the company will now be valued more, just wish our board will take note.

Its a intresting point and one I have never really thought off.

I'm guessing it suits both party's, after all the cinema is in theory trying to entice you to come back and watch the movies it will be showing. Without showing them we wouldn't be sat tjere thinking I can't wait to see that , bit like the matt Damon film I now want to watch.

The studios also want thier films to be shown.
I can't imagine cineworld doing it for free yet it benefits them so much I can't imagine they will also charge a fortune.

It's back to the old added cliché, cinemas and studios need each other , one can't survive without the other.

I did have a giggle at some of the comments today , some clear frustrations, granted I get it but I do wonder how many woke up this morning with the aim to sell today? Not me, always said this is a hold from me , and any other regular lth has pretty much always maintained this view.

Sure the s.p is dire right now , said it a million times so one more won't hurt , it's a volitile stock.
Do I believe the s.p should be higher , absolutly said it enough times.
Did I think the s.p would be this price in June, absolutly not

Has my fundamentals changed , hell NO, I invested in the recovery of this stock , I will invest the necessary time into this stock, I will apply the patience needed for this stock , and more importantly I will make money from this stock, I don't forget the reasons why I pressed the buy button.

This isn't a rally for positivity , the s.p is cr8p , so if you wanna sell your shares, do it doesn't bother me in the slightest, you want to moan , crack on , you have every right too, you want to make more money on another stock , I say the very best of luck to you. It just amazes me all the comments come on the bad days.

I could of made more money elsewhere or if I day traded this stock, I choose to go long, and long I shall stay , stocks and shares can't be seen in a crystal ball so there is always that risk of drops , and hindsight is great , as we would of all sold up start of week and re brought late afternoon.
