Uk tightens travel rules , pcr tests once again now required to enter the country , relevant to cineworld?? , only that we are in the travel and tourism sector which I find a little crazy. They have a rough time so do we. With luck we have reached bottom.

Unfortunately we seem to be in a position where news of new variant, what potential it can do and how its reported by the media is causing a real sentiment in the market in general. Talk of future lockdowns for me is fake news bit with what's happening in Austria and Germany which are both trying to force the unvaccinated to be vaccinated or at the very least make life so difficult for them they choose to get vaccinated.

To add to that we have a court outcome due which will prob put new investors off. We feel as investors we will win , cineplex investors will feel the same.

That said looking at a buissnes and I always say it we continue to progress , march financials we were shut , then we had staged opening with social distance and now we are fully operational.

Month on month figures show higher attendance levels at the cinema , supported and evidenced by the last trading update.

For me the s p has dropped on what's happening away from cines progress. For me it will only be a matter of time before it corrects itself.

S.p predictions I won't do , it's all guess work , if people knew we would all be very wealthy.

I'm pretty sure I will know the responce , I'm sure they will highlight they have just had a trading update, and then the full finamcials prob due in march , I know its been mentioned one coming in Dec or Jan but when I put the question to the individuals why do they believe we will have one my question wasnt answered

I will add the only reason I sent the email was because quite a few posters questioned the timing of the short and giving its location some smelt a possible bit of foul play.

So made sence to see how they cine felt. Anyway here's the responce , i obviously replaced my real name with bonkers lol

Dear Mr bonkers

A leak is highly unlikely as we are not expecting a judgment for another few months.

Given the significant short and after looking at their investment strategy, it is most likely they have invested in Cineworld’s convertible bond and have taken a short position as a hedge.

Yeah will be intresting to see what they say , and would certainly be a benefit to the board

Hello all I have sent the following email regarding k2 to investor relations, it was a rush job as busy at work , I'll let you know if they respond, as I said I'm confident no court leak has happened but I would be interested to know how cineworld feel about it. Of a few here have raised it then maybe they have, anyway the short email is as follows

Good afternoon sir/madam.

I regularly view and post on the cineworld lse bulletin board and was wondering if you could answer the following question regarding the recent short position k2 & associates investment management inc have recently took.

Cineworld are currently awaiting a desicion on the outcome of its court case with cineplex which like k2 are also based in Canada.

Are cineworld concerned that perhaps a court leak has happened which has led to k2 making this descion to short our stock?.

The location of both party's ( the court and k2) and the timing of taking out a short (at what hopes is the bottom of a huge dip) seems too much of a coincidence and a unusual time to consider borrowing lots of our shares.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts
