For some reason the s.p on Google changed just after 5pm to 41.05 , a drop of nearly 2p.

Be intresting to see if the open reflects this, not that it really matters too much either way

Not sure mountainous , quite possibly, I always feel a sudden disappearance like that indicates a sell , hence why I have always believed you only post here if you have a stake or are planning too.

These posters that post and say I'm looking for info and start a deramp post I'm always highly suspicious off. And I never believe the ones that post 100 plus posts here and say its because they love the cinema and have o financial intrest here.

Ibthougjt the main part of the appeal was going to be the size of the judgement rather then question it all together.

Maybe they think the more they appeal tje more they can drop off, I don't know no.

Least we also know some of the avenues cineworld are lodging their appeal against, I'm sure more details will come out over the coming days/weeks

Lpd your right ,I didn't account for the rises we have seen recently. I think the reason was cine was still in its plato period after the judgement.

I was thinking more on jp individual journey , however as you point our with the 30% rises substantial losses start to shrink pretty quickly as I have seen with my own investment and no doubt yours and other lth here. Makes you wonder how quickly jp could of cut his own losses.

My point I just think it's a shame when former posters who sold at a loss appear to have a pleasure to see this now do bad , as if to try and justify their own desicion to sell.

Lacks class in my opinion , you don't see the many other posters here who sold immediately after the judgement for losses coming back talking it down , their descion to move on I respect , and their silence shows they have also made peace with that decision.

With luck them posters are making some good returns in their new invesents.

Jg68 you were side by side with many here as a long term investor , you then became a very frustrated poster when the share price dropped , however I always liked your earlier input.

You then sold at a substantial loss yet made your money back elsewhere, you came here to tell us your good news in making money back and it was well recieved.

To come back now on a stock you are not invested in and insult everyone that decided to stick around is pretty shameful , it may of been the right decision for you to leave but to those that stuck around doesn't make our choices wrong.

All you have done is become a type of poster you used to actually hate, a shame really

Hey mountainous remember the market opened with a over the top drop , it's not like ot opened level and dropped silly amounts through the day. The m.ms done this.

We prob had a lot of genuine investors question if cineworld would acctually survive this judgement , for instance moneyp1t and smalltrader sold on fear for further drops , even fun admitted he was seriously contemplating selling , luckily he took time out to think and came to the conclusion it was worth staying. But with that huge judgement it was money we simply didn't have , what was needed was take stock of what was actually happining and then take a calm approach moving forward with regards to our own personal investments.

This I feel was the reason for the drops that day , genuine investors like moneyp1t a smalltrader who totally believed in cineworld simply stopped believing, and looking at their investment, believing cineworld was to drop further and bailed.

That's why I believed we dropped further, people bailing out and stopped believing rather then listen to the trolls on this board.

Just my opinion and respect I'm clearly in the minority.

We have had 1000s of trolls on this board, they are constant , and a continued battle , if these b.b made a real difference cineworld would be bankrupt by now.

If people do sell by listening to trolls which I'm sure there are or have been their minimal shares will be swept up by longer investors.

I say minimal shares as I can't believe people with a big fay holding would be willing to invest large chunks of cash and then sell them based on a silly comment

I personally disagree mountainous.

I would like to think there rises are based on there own company fundamentals rather then comments on a cine b.b.

If you missed him earlier, Nadhim Zahawi has told BBC Breakfast that, with continued falling cases, some Plan B rules in England could soon be lifted.

"If you look at infection rates, they remain high, hospitalisations is still high, touching 20,000 people in hospital, but it feels like they're plateauing," he said.

"The good news is the number of people in ICU has been coming down, certainly in London, which was the epicentre, the level of staff absence in education has remained pretty flat, it was 8% before Christmas, it's at about 8.5% at the moment.

"So I'm confident that when we review this on the 26th of January, as we said we would do, then we'll be in a much better place to lift some of these restrictions."

If further restrictions are dropped 26th Jan then I would imagine thos will also give a nice lift for the travel sector

I'm hopeful the results will show good progress.

I'm not expecting a lot of debt to be reduced , most months since last year's results we have been burning cash rather then making it.

But let's not turn this message negative , show better then expected results and decent progress is what I personally want to see.

Mookys forward looking statement which will hopefully include managing debt will be just as important too.
