i think you need to wake up and realise not everyone has to have the same opinion as you.
you want to short thats your choice , i wont try and convince you to change.
covid has impacted business all over the world in many country's, cineworld has taken the brunt of this more then most, we also have huge debts, we also have a huge judgement that if lost on appeal could have consequences to our investment. do you think we are that stupid we need you to tell us this. seriously!!!!
what i will say is looking at the updates since march 2020 we continue to show progress , trading update continues to show rising numbers are returning , we are not there yet but are certainly closing the gap, this is fact!!!!
your theory of families refusing to go to the cinema is flawed. you might not want to spend 50 quid but that doesnt mean the rest of the nation refuses to.
for instance me my son , brother and father went to watch man utd at old trafford against middlesboro , we could of stayed at hoe and watched in on t.v on the south coast.
i could go on holiday in a tent in Cornwall but i choose to take the family on holiday abroad, not because im flash but we all work hard and its a reward we give ourselves.
for me its simple, every family at some time deserve a break or reward from there weeks at work/school etc , cinema is actually a affordable option when you consider the price of theme parks, weekends away,London attractions and even the latest computer game, and the joy of cinema there is always one locally.
my opinion of course
