Superstar, take your point about not rushing news but all I’m saying is it would be nice. Like you, I would prefer a solid quality release than something rushed out that disappoints.

You can read my profile all you want, you’ll see me rooting for AFC and on occasion, being critical of Adam Bond. My trading position is and always has been long term. I explained why im making the statement, because I think the moment is opportune and I think people will agree.

I can see the momentum of late 2020 coming back for a number of reasons where our SP saw a peak for the following reasons. What's new now compared to then?

1. Extreme Rise in oil prices means cost competitiveness of hydrogen must be much more compelling than before from a cost per kwh perspective
2. Government-level willingness to diversify from russian oil and gas which was already strong has now been amplified exponentially.
3. Real money , i.e $bns being committed by the German Government and no doubt many other western governments to transition

Trigger events for AFC:

1. Show / indicate that the engineering of HFC is complete.
2. Deliver and show the new solid cell in situ
3. Sign any kind of incremental commercial deal
4. demonstrate that AFC can handle orders of scale
5. Announce significant expansion of product application.

There is no reason any of this can't happen imminently. Anxious as this could be a window to raise the profile and therefore mcap of the company significantly. Come on Adam Bond, throw us a bone! Genuinely wishing the company and LTH's well.

DW - On the positive side, It's only 'delayed' according to Haggis - it's not delayed according to anything AFC have promised.

Also, nothing has happened which would stop the supply of our fuel cells - unless we are buying any raw materials from them the Russians that we struggle to get anywhere else. Also - wondering if we could be at risk from semi conductor supply shortage?

This could be clutching at negative straws, as we could just as easily see;

1. Julich Delivered soon
2. Urban Airport Delivered by March / April
3. Acciona Delivered by June
4. ABB delivered by Q3
5. A Mace deployment
6. An Altaaqa licensing deal
7. A New Product announcement
8. Any New commercial agreement for HFC

Not to mention there's no customer orientated exposure to Russia.

Sonofagun - All that matters now is what they're selling of the HFC and the ammonia system. I count 4 systems so far. One to ABB for delivery later this year (Ammonia), one for Acciona (HFC), One for Extreme E(L) and one for Juelich (HFC).

This is rubbish - AFC have canned plenty of products in the past without telling investors through official comms.

AIM - I’m happy they have developed a better product. But we were also happy when they built the ‘Alpha’ fuel cell, then the ‘Kore’, then the ‘L’.

You’re right, all AFC is at the moment is a product that is almost finished (hopefully). It is certainly not a business but we all hope that can change very soon. This year, ideally.

Im wondering if this is what the exchange with De Nora was. i.e Help us develop the electrodes - we'll let you use it for electrolysis, and we will focus on fuel cells.

Since then De Nora have set up shop with Thyssen Krup, and you know the rest. Of course, this could be complete speculation on my part, but there must have been some kind of value exchanged for De Nora to have worked for AFC in that regard. It certainly wasn't cash they received. De Nora get to use the tech for electrolysis AND manufacture our electrodes for fuel cells - win / win for De Nora and Luca B. TBH I don't even have a problem with it, if it means we're going to start moving fuel cell product at scale imminently. That said it would be a big part of our IP handed over, so wonder whether that would need to have been RNS'd? (if what I speculate is correct). IMO. DYOR.

Perhaps Alkamem available for us to sell in different use cases (outside of De Nora's needs) hence the RNS Re looking for partners?? Electrolysers would be the obvious one, but maybe we can't license it out to electrolysis companies due to De Nora. Again - all speculation.

RE the update, I am more patient than you DW - rather wait until they have something positive to go with it, than release it on the back of the last few RNS's which haven't shown much by way of progression (except VARD).

DW it is what it is. For now we have to put up and shut up. The key thing in the short term is to get the units out to where they are expected. We also need to see evidence of the strong pipeline coming in to its own. It is only March 2nd and plenty of time for both to happen. Plenty of cash and therefore runway for Afc to make good headway and sales. I can’t see that they would ramp up to 150-250 staff without having orders to fulfil. I believe there is a lot more going on behind the scenes than we know and we just have to be patient for a little while longer. There is of course the opportunity for investors to ask questions at the agm. See you there if you’re planning to go.

Daz - have you seen the size of the thing? It is bloody massive!

Considering Zeus expect a £21m annual cash burn in 2021, and it will have £21m left by the end of next year, my prediction is that there wont be another fundraise for the best part of two years yet. Plenty of time to get the market cap up so another £30-£60m is not a big percentage, although we would want it to be from a SP of at least £1 or higher.

Simply not true. When apple release the new iPhone they don’t need to prove that it does what it does. Customers trust it does what it does because they saw the last iPhone working well. Same with the exe cell at extreme e which is why that one is so useful still. Proving the underlying technology and AFC’s credentials.

Whilst I welcome an RNS at a time the market is rising, there’s nothing new in this RNS at all??

We knew we were deploying to acciona soon and that it would be the hfc system?

OK MPO, so ITM can have a £2bn market cap with sub £15m in revenue but AFC can't. Ceres can have a £1.5bn market cap on £30m revenue, but AFC can't. Whatever. Let's see when AFC looks good for its £11m revenue for next year, my prediction is it will hit £1bn market cap by that point. IMO.
