RE: The sad state of this board3 May 2022 09:43
We need to come to the understanding that both sets of 'extremes', i.e Haggis on the one end and Garonne on the other, both want the share price to increase from where I am sitting. They have this in common - we should find a way to have a conversation on both sides which acknowledges this. I enjoy some of Haggis's research, but not his attacks on people that don't think like him, and I acknowledge some of Garonne's concern's but could perhaps taper the persistence. Both are genuine, I believe. I don't appreciate seeing people called conmen for putting forward a view which is not 'it's all rosy, don't worry'. Equally, 'This is all f*888ed' is clerly annouying for most people who are invested and trying to have a bit of patience.
It's people like Ade / Number that clearly want / need it to drop, and we need to separate them from people who have genuine concerns. People with concerns should feel free to post without fear of reprisal from the gang, as well as people who are optimistic should feel free to share their research.
The rest of us should try and practice a little restraint and not start firing at people who are clearly very positive, or others that are clearly concerned. Somewhere in the middle there is the correct line us as a group of investors need to consider in our approach to our investment and the company. Good luck. Half year report last year was June 23rd by the way.
