@investmentpro, I would say it will be longer than a year for the cracker to be at the fuel cell’s level of technology readiness, but that does not mean to say it won’t contribute to the overall valuation of the business and increase the share price in that time.

Investment pro, I agree that it’s nonsense to say the fuel cell business isn’t exciting. These same people were here claiming we wouldn’t make the revenue for fy 2024, but we did, so it is actually performing slightly ahead of expectations. The guidance according to Zeus is £11.8m - an exponential increase from the past year, so it will be exciting to see what factors contribute to that, it seems a number of things make that possible, tango, speedy, abb, acciona and nifty lift.

This year is the year.

There was mention of ABB, that they had developed a higher power class system for them.

Fair point - but the bottom line is they said they're not looking to do it now - and they don't need to either.

@Stas - isn't it good for him to make that acknowledgement though? I thought it was. With a commercial pipeline, and sales already in the bag, they can look at commercial loans as an alternative - it also seemed to be clear they think there are events on the horizon that will see the share price 'walked up'...

@Reality, why do you have minimal hopes for the fuel cells? They were clear that the speedy partnership is going well, and they expect to see significant growth from Tamgo?

Very pleased with the update. Zero bluster, just an honest appraisal of where we are.

And where we are is in a very positive place;

1. Significant YOY revenue growth

2. Growing pipeline with Speedy and Tamgo - and other opportunities in the pipe

3. A Compelling cracker activity with lead interest from Japan.

5. A Goal to maintain low costs.

At £86m Market cap, operating in the clean energy / hydrogen space, this company is massively undervalued - the IP alone is surely worth £250m. This is undervalued, happy to ride it out whilst we await news of more developments, as per the management's view.

I like it - AFC are on to something amazing with the cracker.

@Reality - Solid set of questions, there, thanks for sharing, my questions, largely overlapped with yours, but I have the following additionally;

1. Can you give us an update on the current state of manufacturing - what is your appraisal of where we are at now, and where do we want to get to in the next 3, 6 and 12 months

2. Do we expect any partnerships with Hyamtec that will help with costs relating to that business?

Always an excellent sign.

Unless there is support from either a partner or government. Key to everything is how they’re going to fund the bit that isn’t currently making money - I.e Hyamtec.

JGBB from a shareholders perspective I would not want the company to hold back news to make the new ceo look good. He’s got to stand up on his own two feet and prove why he’s the man and say what he’s going to do differently, and how he’s going to manage the company differently.

Certainly, his creds in scaling a manufacturing company are solid, so let’s hope we benefit and are able to have a convincing strategy for that scale up of our fuel cell business. Since we have this expertise and an actual sales director, as well as David Harvey it does seem like we have the right kind of people to scale sales and manufacturing.

Separately what goes on with hyamtec is also going to be key to shareholders realising value, so it’s not 100% in mr Wilson’s hands.

I too am hoping for a run of good news between now and the year. Sales to tamgo, confirmed deliveries to speedy, ce marking for abb and cracker partner all possibilities. We do actually need updates - agree post us election would make sense (stability), if things are able to be planned that way.

On ABB remember, CE marking was expected before the end of the year, making the product actually saleable so that would be great progress alongside announcement of deployment even if that falls in to 2025.

Another curious thing is that Laurus Technologies LLC of Qatar made a social media post claiming to partner with ‘advanced hydrogen solutions by AFC Energy’. Although the image did not show an afc generator, and the post was then edited to say Diesel generators from FG Wilson, it does indicate there is something there that we don’t currently know.

I disagree Ade, it shows that afc are still in the mix and worthy enough to call out, and we already have the 20 generator agreement.

I agree but you keep insisting it’s AFC’s fuel cell inside when it’s not. It’s someone else’s fuel cell, so until I see a contract with money on it, I will put it in the category of all other partnerships afc have announced to date….for gods sake.
