Just because it’s not what you want to hear, doesn’t mean it’s crap.

What if the hydrogen supply chain and related costs are an issue? It would explain a lot. Firstly the investment in to the octopus assets (afc would need to be able to take it upon themselves to get the fuel out there), secondly using our finite resources to scale up the cracker.

It makes more sense than any other explanation I’ve heard for spreading our resources so thin. To make our fuel cells work at scale, do we also need distributed ammonia cracking at scale, to reduce barriers to adoption? It’s a possibility.

Fuel cell systems - it is possible for afc to get enough systems out to meet the speedy quota, but I feel due to the economics, they will be token deployments to check a box until the cost comes down. Fine by me, but we do also need those deployments to be in demand, and for afc to be able to deliver on them in the short term.

Power Tower's Had to be redesigned as they realised they could be easily knocked over.

Alkamem announced as the 'holy grail' and subsequently parked.

Extreme E Fuel Cell - was supposed to be commercial, then they realised no one wanted it because it was too big.

Lack of delivery thus far of a final system to ABB, or any type of order thereafter.

PLACE - We never heard the outcome and they canned this comms platform.

Way more announcements that have been released in the past 10 years are dead than are not. Making something of the Speedy partnership is last chance saloon, and I for one, do hope this goes against the grain. Perhaps Adam Bond leaving is what the company needs to achieve something that rewards us shareholders. I certainly hope so.

Mike Rendall will get his flowers when he lands a strategic partner for Hyamtec that delivers AFC Energy shareholders value. Not before then, I'm afraid. He's used AFC's resources to build his toy, but now we need the value back from it.

It's all rubbish. Their valuations are rubbish, and this company's output is rubbish. Cold hard news on orders and sales is all this needs, and always seems to disappoint. When will this change?

Redknight - they have been trying to pump AFC just like every other broker. I invite you to look at every single broker report in the last 13 years. Come back to me when you've done your homework.

Peel Hunt have been stupid and misguided so far, yes, just like every other broker that has believed Adam Bond's hype over the years.

If I was the CEO of AFC with all of this massively amazing stuff coming up that was going to be transformational, I wouldn't resign from my position.

Daz, I find myself unfortunately agreeing with your entire post. The worst thing is, this company is still valued at £100m mcap, maybe all the other theories aside, Helikon just don’t think it’s good value at this price? All of these years whilst afc had hundreds of millions in market cap - was it valued correctly? Evidently not. What are they doing to deliver shareholder value?

Adam Bond, I believe had gone because he knows this this year is going to be c r a p for revenue and the best thing for him is to go in an orderly way. He’s gone now, but we also have to look at the rest of the board and their roles in presiding over this absolute shambles.

These kind of shenanigans do happen though, ‘illegal’ or not, you / the authorities would have to prove it. This is where it becomes difficult.

The fact is, at the moment, the share price is languishing and we urgently need some positive news that would undoubtedly increase the value of the company. That is sales and delivery.

Ok, you answer the question then. How long is 'shortly', and why haven't we heard anything already / lately?..

For me, as I've said multiple times before, the cracker is a sideshow. What will move the company in the near term (in terms of SP) is progression on the fuel cell front. We've been led to believe;

- A Tamgo order is imminent

- ABB system will have CE marking Soon

- Acciona have a trial (in progress)

- Speedy follow on order?

Where are we with this, AFC??? Why is it so quiet on that front?

Daz - because they refocussed their efforts on the cracker business, rather than doubling down on fuel cells. A cracker business we are yet to see the benefits of!

Ade - today it is you talking absolute rubbish.

It is true Hyamtec will not make profits for a long time. What we can hope for is that the value of hyamtec increases through its development and announcements, thereby increasing the value of afc energy shares as it is a tangible asset that it owns. If Hyamtec’s valuation is set at the right value at the point of any investment from a third party, afc shareholders benefit.

In my mind, the risk comes in if there isn’t any interest and they accept lowball offers for investments in to the company at a high %, but that would be the case inside or outside of afc.

I’d imagine any investor would want to make sure their investment goes in to the cracker because they’re not interested in power generation (fuel cells). Which makes you think what types of companies would these be?

Overall, I’m positive about todays move.

Can we please stop talking about what Adam Bond talked about as if it is supposed to get us excited? Most of what he talked about over the last decade has been absolute junk.

Why would you make a business introduction and then go and spout about it on a bulletin board, you melt.
