As long term investors, many of us have learned to take the rough with the smooth. There's been rough times in the past, and I'll admit that I have myself called for AB's head in the past - but it is definitety not the time for a change in CEO, quite the opposite, we need to see what we're doing through and get behind and support the company.
At the moment, there is tangible progress. Real systems, operating in real life environments, and as Alt says, more flexible in terms of fuel intake than the competitors. This is what is being proven out in the field. Like it or hate it, we have to let things take their course. It is a course I am happy with, accepting I may not get updates on demand and when I want them and timelines can move. If AFC completely change course again, I will probably be upset - and likely express it, but to me, the methanol PT, and any other PT for that matter, look more or less like complete and finished products, ready to be bought.
Not to mention, we have had real, commercial real-life deployments at an Urban Airport and been at the forefront of a clean energy racing event. As a salesman, I imagine this makes it much easier to persuade people to sign on the dotted line, compared if AFC hadn't done those things. AFC have delivered the methanol system on time, and there's nothing to say there's not progress in other areas such as the ABB cell. I don't imagine AFC would be getting endorsements from leadership at ABB if things were not on track. they would not be paraded by the department of international trade if they didn't have a credible plan.
It's quite simple - if you're not confident in AFC, you can find many other investments that you feel you can support. go away and leave AFC alone to get on with it! However, if you're here, you know that this company has the potential to deliver something special - seeing real units in real deployments at a number of major players gives me the confidence I need for a company at this stage of it's development. Oh, and there's still plenty of cash for the company to take the room and space it needs, for many, many months yet - thanks to none other than AB and team who raised money at the right time, reducing the risk to us LT SH who otherwise would have been facing the risk of dilution at a much lower MC, as today.
Patience. It's happening. It will happen. Come on AFC. GLAH.
I agree DW. BTW for ammonia, in my mind, that was scheduled for Q1 next year, so anything this side of the year would be a bonus anyway. This is great for now. Additionally, we know there is a MACE HS2 deployment that's not been announced yet, so there is more positive news potentially to hit in the coming days or weeks. Feels like each announcement will be progressive development of the narrative, which is great for me.
For me, this is massive. Even if there isn't a spike in the SP today, this is a massive advancement in the validity of the product and therefore the company.
One of the biggest questions in my head was how they would transport enough bottled hydrogen around to these off grid chargers. Space / Safety issues, but with Methanol - this concern is eradicated. I think this will be the first of a spate of info coming out over the coming days / weeks. We know there was a photo shoot at HQ last week, so let's see. Good times ahead. Accionna has hundreds of sites btw.
GLAH.
And reply to their messages. All is well. Power Towers at some excellent destinations. A little more patience required, but plenty of cash in the bank to ride out any near term economic storms. In that time, we have trial data and new product deployments to look forward to. Im fine with the silence for now. Thanks.
Yes they've overpromised in the past, but now they are on the cusp of great things. There is a deployment at HS2 at Euston currently, wait till news of that hits the market, and we get the data back from these deployments. We will be live in 4 X construction sites, that’s fantastic progres if you ask me. If i was at Speedy Hire, Id be looking for the cheque book.
For what it's worth, I actually thought DW posted some valuable contrarian views, persistent and uncomfortable as his views were, there was certainly some logic and sense. With that being said, where I have to draw the line is accepting someone openly trolling the company on their social media at this stage of their development. I have my money in this company and in this regard, DW is overstepping the mark. That person is definitely him. Perhaps DW doesn't realise how his english reads. At this point, I really don't give a F what he brings to this board at this stage and will out him if he continues to his own company.
How would he like it if someone tried to jeopordise the public view of the company he works for, at a crucial time when they are looking to secure those valuable first contracts?
Could UK Equities now look pretty cheap to US investors? Companies like AFC have lost quite a lot of value in terms of market cap, additionally, the dollar buys a lot more. Surely time for the yanks to start piling in?? Just a thought.
What is the new marketing guy, Ben Bradshaw
up to? Has he not had enough time to settle in?
He came in and presided over the release of a shockingly poor website which had spelling and grammar mistakes. Since then, nothing!

Here are some of the possibilities:
1. That the towers have gone out and revealed that they don’t work as well as they should. Power tower is a new product but it is Power Tower X that will be the final product.
2. The towers are out but it’s imperative everyone keeps it a secret until they know the results of the trials.
3. One or two suppliers will have exclusivity of supply.
4. The power towers are no longer a priority, the solid cell for Abb / shipping is now the primary focus due to the macro environment and supply issues.
5. The power towers have been tested, they performed brilliantly and the period of silence is to allow for initial commercial deals to be finalised.
I really don’t know which but hope it’s 2, 3 or 5.
