Not sure about timelines.

In reference to the UK arm; we would do well to consider the Southampton University booster trial just completed. We would have to show that COVIDITY works in conjunction with the current Jabs. So that would be:

You can see the sooner the better as when you add Moderna into the mix, or others that are being used as current boosters, the permutations become complex.

I appreciate that this would not be a booster trial and is in fact our own trial, but being as we have had a booster trial it becomes relevant.

Yes researching, investing and holding can become tiring.

The VLA vaccine is an ‘inactivated’ vaccine. Not necessarily any better or worse, just a case of swings and roundabouts IMO. Seems like an unjustified drop to me but not invested. To be shortlisted as one of the 7 possible boosters shows it must be a recognised vax.

Looking at slide 10 of the presentation; MHRA - APPROVED MODI1, which Is a basket trial design. It looks complicated to my inexperienced eye. Does that mean it will take longer than a conventional trial (2 to 5 years) If so, how long.

To use Lindy’s words, ‘immune response end of Jan/Feb (22). Referring to COVIDITY. It was not a promise but she was hopeful. Which I took to mean that she was as excited as any of us to find out a sense of the forthcoming data! So that is only 3 months away…

Agreed Mia, SCIB1 and Modi1 in the pipe. As already discussed, SCIB1 has shown outstanding data in phase 1/2 (my take). But Lindy is excited about Modi1. Clearly she believes in all 3 otherwise she would not have put her name to them in trials.

I am very excited with my conviction investment here. I am prepared for delays as that’s only to be expected when we are taking a crack at horrendous disease like COVID & cancer. Long term, well, need I say any more.

Good to know as many of us will have had or about to have boosters. That all 7 tested following 2 shots of Astra Zeneca did well.

Valneva unfortunately did not do as well when following Pfizer. Did do well when following Astra Zeneca.

Maybe because VLA2001 is an inactivated (dead) vaccine? Of course I really wouldn’t know!

Maybe not an issue if both the S &N proteins are targeted.

Is there an RNS or French equivalent?

I have bought FAR other day. Anywhere under 24p is cheap for a medium hold. Could sell on spikes… When it has grown it should be around 40p IMO. With 10 to 1 consolidation that’s £4. So only a double but almost certainly nailed on.

Added more HZM. Looks good for 10 to 12p soon (jan to March 22). Again looks certain fora double at some point within 6 to 18months.

Revolution Beauty. £1.16 good buy price. Look at the VOX interview with Paul Hill. Ridiculous figures this year and currently look set to trounce those this quarter. Turnover £150 last year. Should smash £200 this year. On course for £500 million in 3 to 5 years. Ebitda 46%! Gross margin 46%! No profit this year as it has just bought its main supplier and therefore secured supply…

If you are looking for big market I’d just keep watching. The accumulative effect of COVID, inflation, QE. Will drive prices down. Melrose May drop towards low £1 for instance and we know that with all things being equal it should be £1.70.

Otherwise, keep an eye on BioNtech. Although they are considered big pharma they are actually only a break through company. The world has not seen yet what amazing treatments they have to offer…

Just my thoughts.

We should be looking at expanding the SA trial IMO. It would be great to multiply the 40 candidates many times. Yes we are in the right place at the right time but risk being overlooked by big pharma and ministers as 40 people just isn’t enough to drive this in the AZ way. Saw this at Synairgen with its covid therapeutic. Scancell need to be driving this and not let events dictate…

In saying all of that. Outstanding data won’t do us any harm should we be left on the shelf. Longer term, there will be other variants.

Or, if COVIDITY were to be proven nearly 100% it could not be ignored.
