Out of all the shares I have, I believe this has the right mix of risk and reward. It’s in my top 10 by size and I have a decent stake.
I’m not trading in and out like some of you guys, with the volatility I’m sure you’re doing well but that’s not for me. I’m aiming to hold this stock for at least 12 months, probably much longer. I’m looking to at least double, probably trip, my investment.
Have read lots of articles, some for and some against. However, I strongly believe that once lock down is complete, the cinemas will implement social distancing measures (families sit together with an air gap to others, pre packed pick n mix, films staggered throughout the day, etc) and the general public will be back into cinemas quickly.
Cineworld has large multi-plexus, they will be able to make this work - won’t be easy and the sp won’t be bouncing back overnight but once Topgun 2, James Bond and all the other releases come to the silver screen we’ll see some good momentum.
This is probably as true as Wozzie’s update and the fact that city whizz kid Mark Ward has bought in...
Why would a company provide ‘inside information’ to one shareholder, therefore giving them the ability to trade at an advantage to other shareholders? Why would the CEO of a listed company provide such information? GS knows the regulations and isn’t going to tip people off..
Lets get real guys.
No worries, thought I’d missed something.
I agree with your points, lots of people making stuff up and not really having a clue what’s happening. We just need to sit back and hope that positive news is released which provides positive momentum to the business and the sp.
Does Giles have 10% of the company? 3 times the new TR1
Giles - How often do you receive direct comms from the company, or access to the management team?
I don’t work in those industries and never have - hence the question. Bots provided a good answer to a reasonable question.
Unfortunately with all the nonsense, conjecture and lies spoken on here it is worth checking everything. If you judged the company on what is stated here as fact, you could lose a lot of money.
I’m able to say this as I know a number of key things that you and others don’t, whilst it’s quite amusing to see some of the comments, it is quite worrying that the false information has the ability to move the share price in a thinly traded small cap.
I’m long and hope the share price moves rapidly north when news is announced, I also hope news is announced soon - as I’m sure we all do.
If we are all blindly optimistic then we’ll walk into disaster, let’s allow people to challenge and discuss alternative views without chastising them.
How much influence/credibility does Barclayhedge have? It’s obviously not connected to Barclays Bank and only has revenue of $6m.
Good that it’s been recognised, would be better if the organisation recognising it was ‘a name’.
Thanks Solana.
I’m still concerned - If they were reputable I would expect them to have some web presence, I can see nothing that ties them into a company which is in the same sector. Even the logo they use doesn’t appear to be used elsewhere on the web.
Plus they state two different prices within minutes of initiating coverage...
It would be great if this wasn’t a scam but looks dodgy to me. Of course, I could be completely wrong and as an investor I would love to be proved wrong.
Anyone found the Savant website? Hopefully isn’t fake..
Does anyone have their website? Couldn’t find it
Hi Shandy,
I’m new to the platform. Assume you have a significant holding of the stock? Whats your thought on its prospects? Apologies for such a wide question!
I agree, not a takeover approach currently - the RNS seems to prove that.

We all find different things interesting :)
Interesting that their credit rating is diminishing.. that will raise some questions when trying to take on business, surprised they haven’t been managing it better. Important for all growing companies, more so in the fs space,
Good post Rambo - everyone has their position and that will naturally relate to what positions they hold. Whilst I don’t fully agree with some of the insight people provide, it is interesting and helps spur further research.
Hi - What makes you think it’s a Spanish manufacturing company?
I believe that one of the larger shareholders is looking to reduce their holding due to fears about ability to execute and timing. They believe there are other opportunities that will provide a more near term upside.
From my perspective there is obviously potential, however, it’s worrying to see that the exec management team haven’t particularly bought into the company and haven’t taken the opportunity to buy when the share price is at the lower levels.
There are £billions of deals being signed at the moment, to say that you need to be able to get in a room to progress these deals seems fanciful - yes, it’s harder but if the opportunity is that good then there are ways to make it happen.
I may wait and see if the share price drops further and then re-evaluate.
Giles - really appreciate your overview of the company and it’s potential opportunities.
You must be pretty confident that ALGW is going to do well!
What are you hoping as a potential upside?
Many thanks on the feedback below regarding the share purchase, much appreciated.
Thanks Giles - I'm looking to increase my stake next week, hopefully find some decent liquidity.
Wise words Giles.
Hope you don’t mind me asking, however when you bought your shares did you buy them on the market or did you use another mechanism? Asking as obviously there is limited liquidity in the stock sometimes.
Thanks
;) it is fascinating. Lots of useful opinions from lots of people. Just read Bots history and there is some really useful information in there.
Friendly! Hope your day tomorrow is better Bots.
