I don’t claim to be anything, I just pass on conversations and information I’m given in the office. Clearly, some people find it useful and some don’t, that’s okay. I don’t really do it other than to share it. It’s not for mass hysteria that’s for sure.

Thanks chief. Got the week off before starting my new Project based role locally in Aberdeen next week. Still got a few people internally that I keep in contact with for jobs and chat etc, so anything that I hear will pass along.

It’s sucked the life out of this one has. It’s been my heart and soul for 16 years now. Here’s hoping it gets kicked into touch and I don’t but I’m away from it all now as an employee, heavy weights been removed from the old shoulders this morning.

Was quite surreal dropping my gear off this morning. The office where I popped my IT etc was like a scene from Wolf of Wall Street where they’re all open plan and just everyone off their seats chatting, gossiping etc. it’s certainly not the norm so something must be brewing.

That being said. I do enjoy the passion everybody exerts on here, sometimes was a bit monotonous but I do quite enjoy the back and forward with everyone.

So chaps, let’s see what unfolds, I’m probably going to lose £50k unless this no support gets through. But such is life, rough with the smooth.

That sentiment seems to be shared widespread up at HQ this morning for sure. They’ve completely destroyed the morale of the workforce with their behaviour up to this point. Ken Gilmartin is completely devoid of any moral compass so I highly believe he still thinks he’s doing a stand up job. I know this game is played at a much higher level, but the foundations and the people of this company have and always will remain resilient. I’ve said at the start of this I think it’ll carry on stand alone and my position (I respect everyone’s opinion as long as it’s respectfully put) is unmoved. But hope a line can be drawn under it all soon for the sake of investors and staff etc who are going through the wringer.

I know some people don’t agree, but the quicker the current board are replaced the better for all.

I’ve kept my thoughts to myself pretty much through this but that last AGM which was a complete shambles may I add, gave a good opportunity for people to see the incredibly shifty behaviour the BoD have exhibited during this process. Since then, they’ve tried to silence dissension, pedal its business as usual and are treating the very people they’re here to provide value for with complete disdain.

Roy Franklin is the man to watch here. An incredibly shifty individual who’s former best pal is part of the takeover team at Sidara, a man who was never happy with Wood absorbed AFW but was appeased with a seat on the board and is trying to manoeuvre a quick exit stage left. I’ve been told he’s “staying on” to drive this acquisition through, but that’s not the full story here. His pockets (as probably with the likes of Ken) are going to get incredibly well lined for getting this through, hence why they’re not acting like they give a toss about the shareholder.

Hope the excitement isn’t too unbearable for all that someone blows a gasket.

I’ve just been up to SIWH this morning handing in my laptop and all my personals, doing my exit interview (which I may add is the most pointless 15 minutes of your time), but bumped into some of my contacts who feed me tit bits of what’s going on the inside. Two of them have said the same thing but almost different wording that there’s a struggle with getting support in terms of numbers and one said something along the lines of it ain’t even close which is causing major frustration. I’d imagine that’s from Sidaras side.

Anyway, that’s my association with the company now done. Don’t plan on setting foot in the building ever again but never say never. Hope today is good for people 👍🏻👍🏻

i’m away from the company now so i don’t actually care. i’ve lost £52k alone up this point and by the sounds of it the directors and board for the past 5 years have been taking their bonuses and share options whilst false reporting of numbers has been rife to facilitate it. staff have been getting it right up the tailpipe which is why i’ve proceeded to go somewhere my skills are appreciated.

no middle ground now for me. the company either refinances its debt or hope it goes in the ****ter. i can’t honestly believe some of the stories i’ve heard before departing the company about roy franklin specifically, but that’s for another day.
