I’m not sure if you’ll pick this up or you’ll even read this. I’m just a lowly employee who’s been with Wood for approximately 12 years and I must confess that I’ve never witnessed such gross incompetence and negligence by a board than what I’ve witnessed under your tenure!!
I find it incredibly disturbing that you sit there and try and say you understand the weight of responsibility that people will have to carry with having to accept this derisory offer made from Sidara. It clearly doesn’t read that way, I’ve got absolutely no doubt that whilst under your watch that you’ve still been collecting your bonuses etc whilst the figures and the way the company has been performing has gotten us to this point? It’s utterly disgraceful and you’ve got absolutely no right or clue to say you understand anything at this juncture with regards to workforce sentiment.
It certainly appears (and I can only speak for myself here) that you and the board have not fulfilled your fiduciary responsibility in providing value to shareholders. In fact, it’s quite the opposite and for you to send out communications to the workforce just acting like it’s business is usual is baffling as it is negligent.
Ever since you’ve been in installed as CEO of this great institution, the company has lurched from scandal to scandal for it all to be “business as usual” as you like to put it. I’ve invested in the share scheme yearly and the company like to put out yearly the whole “invest in the companies future” line but in reality we’re all getting absolutely shafted so I’d like you to explain how the weight of responsibility remotely burdens yourself here?
At this point, I’ve accepted what may come to pass but I genuinely of the firm belief that if you had any kind of moral compass or genuine regret about this situation we are now in, you’d resign your position with immediate effect as you’ve absolutely disgraced and forever stained this fine institution for all time.
