It’s not just you. There’s a few others that speak like opinions are facts. No issue with how everyone puts their points across at all, but nothing is set in stone so it’s all a bit airy fairy.

Great debates and great to have differing opinions and all, but reckon this BB would be much better if the discussion were civil and agreeing to disagreeing if someone says something that people don’t agree with.

It’s cool mate. Rough with the smooth and all that. Think I’d be more devastated or annoyed if it was all part of 1 or 2 major purchases. But think of it more like approximately 180-190 small purchases so doesn’t feel too bad. Bit poor with the way the company sells the share scheme year on year, but like all investments only risk what you can afford to lose.

Have been quite fortunate with Tesla on 3 separate occasions so can’t win them all. Just a bit disappointing with how it’s unravelled being an employee for this company for so long.

My 16 years of investing weekly will lose £62k if sold at 35p a share. Would probably need around £1.22 to get it all back, but it’s money that just comes out my wages monthly, don’t really notice it to be honest so no problem with the risk involved. Win some lose some.

Got about £18k at around 18p a share so peg some of those losses back if sold at 35p. Not a big issue! But I want to see the full extent of the state of the companies finances no matter from an employee or a PI point of view. It should be laid bare for all to see.

every normal person wants full transparency now to see the complete health of the company. keep your “opinion” which is in no way based on fact out of it. more people on here want transparency to see if 35p if fair and just and whatever happens after that happens. just cause you don’t agree, doesn’t mean anyone else is wrong.

The North Sea is a spent resource? Go and just say you’ve got no clue about North Sea oil and gas and leave it there Kando. Can also go with the CNS as well if that’s your take on things.

BP and Adura (formerly shell and Equinor) are ramping up licensing applications due to the government now admitting their idiotic policy of no new licenses has been a bit of economic self half to the coffers. FPSO’s like Penguins are being manufactured in China and Korea for the sole purpose of North Sea to move away from production platforms and the likes. Once Rosebank and Jackdaw are green lit, that’ll be the blueprint for more license approvals in future.

It’s more expensive to get oil in the North Sea these days but if the government just worked with industry a bit better on the taxation side of things, the industry as a whole would get more on its feet as opposed to being restricted.

I wouldn’t take anything that Ken Gilmartin says as a benchmark of truth mate.

This is the man that sat on townhalls, general office monthly updates and most importantly shareholders and said we’d be cash positive in 24/25. He’s very economic with the truth is our Ken. He’s lost trust in the office amongst senior management and the workforce, I’d quite imagine it’s the same with II’s as well. That coupled with his blind delusion that he’s man to turn it around, I’d honestly not trust that man in Poundland.

I've heard from numerous people in the office about an EGM. A bit thin on the ground with detail but the level of disdain for the leadership in the office is now at a level I've never seen anywhere in my career to put it mildly. Bit unsure how that gets called exactly, but plenty of rumblings. We are just lurching from one disaster to another at present. Morale & trust are gone now. Laughable Ken is putting out the message just to continue executing and doing things and keeping safe blah blah blah. Yeah, whilst you're shafting us right up the backside, sounds about right.

I'd pay close attention to why Craig Shanaghey resigned at 52 years of age. This was the head of projects and a person on the executive leadership team who all of a sudden "resigned". Watch this space.

This is just from the inside track, but people on here defending Ken Gilmartin should be thoroughly embarassed. He's not cleaned house or whatever way you want to spin it, he's part of the problem and it's getting incredibly tense at SIWH. That is now widely accepted at senior level. He's presided over countless failures now on his watch. Here's hoping the FCA can connect the dots to the top of the tree.

Rats scurrying around trying to exit a sinking ship currently. They've lost control completely and it's festering badly amongst the workforce now.

Personally, he's lost the plot, but just can't accept the reality of the situation.

I know they were probably bound to read off script etc, but allowing people to travel considerable distances when not required was absolutely disgusting and then sitting there to be told no questions just shows you what they’re up to.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an AGM like this before. Place was secured like Fort Knox for the last couple of days for the biggest wet fart 15-20 mins anyone will ever see in their lives.

I knew people at the meeting that have travelled up from England & Ireland. Incredibly disingenuous asking people that have travelled that far to listen to a scripted pile of nothing new.

My only take away from it all was incredibly shifty body language from the CEO.

I’d be absolutely fuming if I travelled distances afar to get there for that. Disgraceful stuff.

Health and safety risk management? Absolutely not.

These are guys that look at corporate level investments/acquisitions, they also look at lower level scopes like taking over projects from other companies/suppliers and the likes. The guys I know are more related to risk strategy more than management but they’re very well connected at corporate level so get the odd nugget of information here and there.

Health and safety made me laugh though. 🤣🤣
