There is also the possibility of institutions being more flexible in refinancing of the debt. That’s certainly been discussed within the walls of HQ in the last week. That is also a credible alternative that is being explored also.

Not everything is either a yes vote or D4E, just keen to point that out.

Welcome to my world mate. 15 years on the employee share scheme at an average of 1.20 odd all gone up in smoke. Amongst the amount I’ll lose, I do find it quite the comedy that I’m no longer in working with the company any longer.

Managed to get in at 23p so might be able to mitigate the £62k I’ll lose on the employee share scheme. Maybe get it down to £38-39k if it’s sold for 30p.

I’m not going to pretend I understand the complexities of the LSTK contracts which have brought us to this point mate, might be one for the boffins. I know they’ve written most (if not all) of them off but what shadow that has looming over the company, I couldn’t answer for you mate.

Woods previous CEO Robin Watson should be investigated for his part in the purchase of AMEC and whether he knew about these loss making contracts vs his desire to retain contracts Wood were away to lose at all costs.

He’s part of why we’re having these discussions right now. Ken just joined the party after and collected his bonuses and free shares yearly. It’s such a mad web of lies and deceit to untangle for such a great company.

The board have tried to suppress, hide and pull the wool over the workforces and more importantly everyone who’s investings eyes. Surely you want information to be freely available to highlight the extend of what is going on at HQ?

Not conspiracy theory here, my pals of 20+ years work in the risk team at Wood and just passing on what I’m getting internally like I always have.

Not really into theories or anything, you lot can do whatever you please with the information as it’s provided but that’s from reliable people that work within the confines of HQ. Would have to be some wild concocted up fantasy story to not be true and for what gain exactly?

Anyhow, leave that with you. I just pass on what I’m given.

Just getting tit bits from inside the walls of HQ, but looks like everything is now being considered which should now be the case with all changes that have happened in the past couple of months.

Will see what unfolds, I’m going to hold my long term holding and vote no. There’s a path to standalone freedom here, it’s just how willing the financial institutions are to allow that to happen and if it’s achievable.

Best of luck to all, but I’m letting the ship sail and see if it reaches the port I’d like it to go to.

Could look at it both ways. Might not relist to allow people to close out their shorts and Sidara to buy a larger holding and influence the decision of the vote by whatever means necessary.

Trying to get more context but more detail will be forthcoming. Appears to be more willingness from institutional banks to get round the table and have “a discussion” off the back of this report that’s been issued also. I’m not sure if this is perhaps delaying the stock to be traded but might have something to do with it, but that’s just me guessing, nothing certain.

Couple of contacts I still keep in touch with at Wood are saying Iain Torrens has been appraised this morning by the external risk management team on next steps and appears very keen to turn this ship around on its own two feet. Trying to get some more detail added to that but that’s the word from HQ this morning.

After the last town hall or whatever you want to call it, nothing would surprise me whatsoever. People came from far and wide to the last one only to get a pre scripted statement and no questions. These people don’t want scrutiny whatsoever and these are supposed to be protecting shareholder value? Wow!!
