A lot being said about a new CEO shaking everything up,really? Given people often recruit in their own image, do we really think Dot &Co are going to bring someone in who wants to get rid of themselves?

Anyone think RBL outcome next week will warrant a company RNS?

Reserves based lending redetermination due by Tues next week. If positive should push horizon out 6 months and provide some sp support whilst we await asset news

Not sure how much longer the rinse/repeat strategy for 1p either way is going to work. If you get timing right you're lucky not skilled.

New CEO, lending facility approved and Uganda deal all news items possible in next 2-4 weeks. We'll be 50p+ if they're positive and then any takeover price gets back to sensible numbers...80-120p. Company is not going to entertain any bid with SP at these low levels.

Step 1 is get RBL facility renewed by end March, clearly not a great time to be going to banks BUT they have short term covered. Then we have 6-12 months for oil to get to sensible levels and/or get asset sale agreed. Twitchy times but no more than for every other oiler and many oil producing nations.

If we can hold recent repeatedly tested 7.5p by close that's a small crumb of comfort....albeit very small crumb.

Market is more punishing of Tlw because it has presented more uncertainty. No CEO or timing, uncertain reserved based lending facility, vagueness from Dorothy on timing and content of potential asset sales. What else can they think if presented with such vagueness. Positive RNS on one or more of these should see things improve

If oil supply/demand pans out from April as intimated ie. +15 Million surplus/day that's 1 Billion bbls extra of storage needed per quarter. Just dont see that lasting given US SPR is only 80 million bbls off being full. Where they going to put it all?

Anyone with any insights into available crude storage capacity? I know US strategic reserve is almost full(perhaps 70-80 millon bbls spare). If supply is so much greater than demand the balance has to go into storage....surely that can only go on for limited time thereby self limiting supply side?

Ive heard Dorothy say the asset sales are commercially sensitive a couple of times but not heard her say they ae imminent or close to conclusion. Reference?

Of course it is Dorothy's and the BODs fault. They removed CEO without replacement lined up, their updates have been pessimistic and vague and yesterday after 3 months of silence they gave the market nothing but more uncertainty.

And yet SP is down 40% from update. Must be the way Dorothy tells 'em

Until some news breaks or IIs get interested, which will only probably follow the said news, shorters can take this to 1p if they want.

I think the Saudis feel the Russians have been disrespectful in the way they broke ranks. This probably presents a bigger hurdle to overcome than the huge financial pain they are self inflicting. Going to need some top class diplomacy from somewhere to get this back on track
