Disagree, they needed to get debt down in current low oil price environment. Also if POO does go high in couple of years they have income stream above $62/bbl . It will prove a shrewd move for long term holders

Lot of people bemoaning Dorothy but she's done exactly what was needed. Set deliverable expectations and dont let Market down again. So far she's delivered. Cost cutting programme, Q1 production delivered, RBL re-determination, new CEO, first part of portfolio management. She can't control oil price but everything else is building confidence for when oil market stabilises. Its what was needed. Onward and upward...steadily.

Adam, your own bad experience trading Tlw is maybe best advice. If you think Tlw will survive,as i do, best chance of getting most your money back is to hold. If you want to trade wait for days when large increases and maybe sell 20% and buy back on any retrace. AIMHO

It would be cheaper for Trump to start a war than try and bail out US shale. It would also be more successful.

Tony, so you believe Total are going to renege/renegotiate on the $900m already agreed for 2/3 of Tlw Uganda share? Im also not sure it's stated as part of RBL they have to raise $1B in cash. The above 900m was 200m cash plus 700m carry for share of 20000+ bopd in few years time.

Never be ashamed to take a profit, takes all sorts in the investment game. Im holding for medium/long term. This was taken down on fear/expectation of it going bust . RNS Friday took that off the table for 6-12 months, plenty of time to get asset sale sorted.

$300m convertible bond can,if needed,be paid using drawdown from rbl. CFO said this at results meeting. No issues here until 2022 earliest
