The point the market has missed is that lockdown is ending, not because the virus has gone away, but because socially and economically it is not possible to take that approach anymore. The new approach is social distancing whilst opening things up, as long as it is supported by a huge ramp up in testing. If it isn't we will get a huge number of cases again. Testing is going to be off the scale this year and next

I find it remarkable that when any share is declining, there is always someone who thinks it will be 25% cheaper, regardless of the price, every share everyday. Almost as if people have a short on it...

Its remarkable how the market creates such opportunity. broker blue sky scenarios are £34, fair value is what £14-15. So we are around 40% of fair value... Truely remarkable upside. Lets put aside these random price movement games and focus on what it is actually worth. Huge buy at this price, complete no brainer

Red herring mafioso. How many shares of NCYT do IG own, negligible. Its a none event for me that, just a headline grabbing thing. If IG was a huge holder of certain shares fair enough, but they arent here. Plus given prices have halved, I'd imagine most positions would be short. You arent going to have been holding a leveraged position thats halved, the margin calls will have stopped you out long before then.

Think you are right there Taverham. Wouldn't touch airline shares with a barge pole at this price. Maybe the retail shares might be worth holding, but not airline and travel.

The funny thing is, the end of lockdown should be very bullish covid shares. More people mixing equals higher cases and more testing. It has been the success of full lockdown that has kept testing from rising more sharply. Fundamentally its very good for us, but as usual we have to wait for the market to realise that.

That said, as angry as I am, I am still buying more. My passion may be stoked to a fury, but that doesnt impact my brain when it comes to buying more at a ridiculously cheap value

Sooner we get taken over the happier I will be. I've personally had enough of the way NCYT is being run on an investment level. Let AZN have it and unlock the value because all this board does at the moment is destroy value through a lack of guidance and radio silence.

It's time the company did something about this. I'm absolutely fuming with them at the moment. Communicate something you incompetent management.

People only post stuff like that when they are insecure in their own positions, it's a little sad really. Unfortunately they believe they are actually good traders, but in reality they are just fish for aim to gobble up.

My understanding is that whenever a virus infects someone else it has a high chance of mutating (not necessarily in a bad way). The vaccines don't stop you getting the virus (although the data on that is vague at best), so you could well have people vaccinated who developed mutated variants and pass that on. Im no medical expert though, but that is how I understand it. In short we will be living with covid forever in my view, we will just be better at tracking and managing it. NCYT has its place in that long term

But until it is confirmed by NCYT we are all just guessing. True, it seems virtually nailed on, but this is one of the examples of us not having the information confirmed, to provide a share price uplift. It will come, and when it does the price will set new highs (in my view). It's becoming clear it is not NCYT that is choosing not state the contract details, but the gov not allowing them to. Its incredibly frustrating, but eventually they will be allowed to confirm it....

A nice little comment from BOJO later regarding securing gold standard, locally sourced testing capacity to control the future outbreaks post lockdown ending would go down lovely tonight.

The flip side to this being a such an utterly shocking share at the moment, is sentiment can't get any worse. Any small bit of news or any actual news (god forbid NCYT actually update us on something), and we will rocket up.
