Good reply, although iI prefer to use the 2H EBITBA number as the virus was in full swing then and H1 was only a few months worth, so annualising 2H gets to 322m euros. This is all without the other DHSC contracts which are highly likely (although the uncertainty for which is one reason its not higher). What I've found is the market likes the idea of future profits, but it often doesnt like the reality of them, even when they over achieve. Its the old buy the rumour factor...

In perspective, NCYT is trading at c15months earnings, so i wouldn't get optimistic about seeing 9x earnings!

I wonder if part fo the reason we haven't recovered yet despite all the good news this week, is that the sell off last week left the MM's with alot of volume as they have to make a market, and I imagine there were more sells than usual. For sure some of that has gone to II's, and this week has seen net positive buying. I wonder if it is a case of them just staying on the offer to balance their books, then once thats clear (looking at volumes I'd guess we are close to that now) prices will rise and fall with actual demand and fundamentals. Just my thoughts on a very strange trading week.

There are virtually no shorts, and the II's as have been shown by multiple posters are adding constantly. Its just being managed by the MM, likely to fulfil these II buy orders. It cant fill them if it cant get the shares.

This to me is set up for the mother of all rallies. Funds adding, people awaiting the end of the technical games, blatant hints from NCYT themselves regarding DHSC, a mcap at a ridiculously low valuation.... lets have the spark and watch the fireworks.

The guy is a joke, he takes pleasure in winding people up and trying to make people feel bad, disgusting behaviour. I report every single post of his I see now without even reading it, as it is the same everytime.

The timing isnt a coincidence. Gov says will do surge testing using PCR that can detect mutant strains, and within 12hrs we have a ready to go test that can do everything they need. Obvious they released that after discussions with the gov, and NCYT will be doing the surge testing

They did say however that the US was one of its top 4 markets, so its obviously got great income from there.

I think the next major step is to hire a PR guy or girl who knows how to build up a brand. Honestly, communication is woeful in timing, and when it does arise virtually always causes the price to fall. Whilst the numbers were great today, the forward guidance was none existant. You cant be a midcap with PR like that, it will never happen. Best thing to come out of today is it makes a takeover much more likely. Im sure many more of us on here would now warmly welcome a company taking over that can unlock our true value, if NCYT cant achieve (which they should be easily able to given our revenues and market leading position). Woeful valuation for an amazing company. Improve the valuation NCYT or let somene else do it for you.

I dont think the question is will things get 3x worse, I think the question is are their hospitals etc that dont have access to it, going to benefit if they do. I suspect the answer to that is a big yes, otherwise the government wouldnt have written an option to take them into its contract. It obviously forsees a need for them. Its not NCYT trying to sell more to the Gov, is the gov saying if its successful we want to roll it out further.
