When the market becomes irrational and fearful it is time to buy. A little perspevctive is in order. Whilst none of us like to see a price fall, there's no concern from me. It is what it is, until sentiments turns on a six pence and smashes it into the roof of the net. We are selling millions worth of tests everyday, are rapidly growing the workforce, and have new tailor made products for the NHS and for global variant detection programs. Let others have their time in the limelight, our time will come soon enough, then we can all enjoy the fruits of our patience.

IG limiting positions is a good thing. Takes away some peoples opportunities to mess with the price through shorts, whilst longs can simply buy the shares and increase physical demand. I have a bug issue with spread bet shorts in general, and less of those about couldn't make me more happy

The flip side is that lft being so inaccurate will probably increase the spread due to that false sense of security. In a strange way it will help NCYT as there will be an increase in cases again as it will spread more. Not really how I'd like NCYT to benefit, but its the way it seems to be going.

If it were a buyout we would be up 200-300%, not 10%. You never know though, theres always time tomorrow

Yep that's where I am right now, downside is minimal here so there is literally jack all point even looking at the price. Just wait it out and be ready to top up when it turns.

When a share price drops so low to its fundamentals then its an easy hold. Its long past the time to have cut out of it, its now the easiest hold in the world. Whats the downside from here, very little I would have thought, what's the upside, minimum 100%. Someone wake me when we get back to 13 euros, or we get some news that puts all these silly games to rest.

I believe that is the case Kaeren, but I'd personally be annoyed if that was the takeover offer. It's worth multiples of that price in my view, personally I'd expect at least £20 a share, more if they use sector multiples, but who knows. Theres been fund buying, and IG wont accept more longs, seems something fishy going on in the background to me. Maybe hostile takeover coming, who knows

I do think phase 2 or some hybrid version will come soon, and all this pain we are suffering now will be worth it. That said if it doesnt come soon then it could mean looking for other opportunities.

Apologies oh financial definition police officer. To appease the academics amongst us call it price to revenue, mcap versus income plus cash. It's how I value a company, not on random ratios. 1 years revenue plus cash = MCAP near enough, so 1-1. You can shout away at my valuations all you like, but in anyones book it is ridiculously cheap, of that we both agree.

There in lays the opportunity. If phase 2 is confirmed, or some form of phase 1 / phase 2, then the valuation looks ridiculous. other covid plays have huge PE's on maybe sales, and yet we have no valuation to reflect forward earnings potential. Its priced as though we earn virtually nothing soon, it's painly wrong.

£213.7 million 2H income, annualised = £427m. £91m in the bank. take the two together thats £518m. mcap £530m..... You dont have to be a rocket scientist to see its undervalued, various reasons, none justifiable for such a low mcap. NCYT bang on about creating shareholder value, a PE of 1 is not shareholder value by a long long way.

Annualise their 2H income (1st half obviously lower due to covid acceleration), take off the 100m sat in the bank and yes it is a PE of c1

God I hope Boris isn't doing Novas PR, that'd finish me off. I finally cracked and emailed investor relations, Ive held off and held off, but enoughs enough. If the sheer volume of people asking them for information and telling them to improve communication is not a clue to them, then god help them there will be no holders left.

How the F can we have a PE of 1 ffs. What the hell is going on with NCYT at the moment, pull your fingers out and provide some guidance, this is beyond incompetant. Apologies rant over, but we are all thinking it.

I actually don;t know what to say about this share anymore. The price has gone so far below relaity that it would be laughable if we weren't all losing money on a daily basis. Something needs to be done by NCYT, and it needs doing asap
