I fail to see anything negative about this RNS. This has been expected. Everyone new it was coming. It hasn't caused any mass selling, infact volume is very low this morning. Bizarrely the MM's dropped the value of the company by �8.5million due to just over �30k of sells. I see this as great news. It shows that the company are not messing about they have a plan and they are getting on with it, as they always have done. Quite unlike EMH (partly for reasons outside their control) which I still hold a small amount of shares in. We are entering a new phase, with the company talking about new financing through debt. I am sure equity financing will be kept to a minimum. As you say I don't think the previous placing has anything to do with the drop this morning since that took place mid Dec. The price originally dropped because of the delay in this deal implying that people looked on it favourably. The delay to this deal has probably got something to do with this latest news.

They would still need a new CFO and NED if they were only selling Mexico. BCN could carry on and plough money into developing Zinnwald without the need to borrow huge sums. They would in effect be on a free ride to develop Zinnwald.

Trades today have not been reported correctly. You can get a better idea of what has gone on if you look at the intraday chart on London Stock Exchange website. It shows a nice steady rise since about 8.30 this morning. Hopefully will continue tomorrow.

Has LSE got it's bid and ask prices wrong? It differs from London Stock Exchange web site which has been showing 95/96 as opposed to 95/99. This is giving an inaccurate indication on the number of buys verses sells.

Thanks really interesting article. My impression though BCN is not one of those junior miners that has been over valued, in fact quite the opposite it is extremely undervalued compared to its peers. As an aside, I am really curious as to why this board gets really busy at times supporting a rising share price and stoking it up in the extreme. Whilst at other times like now the board gets pretty quite. Can I assume that all the people that talk the share up when the board is busy are traders and at other times they disappear and are happy to see the share price fall back.

Maybe they want to get involved with more funding and in raising the capital for the next stage of the project, in which case the previous agreement would become superfluess. This may involve them paying more for the shares. I think it highly unlikely that they would not want to go through with the previos arrangement for negative reasons since it could be regarded that they had a bargin. I have no idea whether this is a sencible arguement and will defer to anyone with a greater knowledge on the subject.

Strangely quite on here this morning. Conversely I am feeling quite buoyant this morning. If the SP manages to stay in the blue for the rest of the day that will be the first consecutive rise since 8th January. To me that would be quite significant and may mean an end to the recent downtrend correction.

I know that's my point you are just guessing. I don't know how much notice other people take of some of the postings, however you did post with utter conviction that the SP was on the next upward step only for it to fall back. Didn't catch me out but it may have caught some. If the SP rises from here great, but I have no idea whether it will or fall back some more first. I have conviction that the SP will be a lot higher in 6 months time that's why I am invested here.

Like you were sure a couple of weeks ago realdeal when you hyped it up about 10% in the morning only for it to fall back to square one in the afternoon and its been falling ever since. It may or may not have turned. But lets be honest you have no idea. With the small gain today so far the SP has still not reached the price it was the day before yesterday.

Thanks for replying. I wasn't taking issue with you advertising the fact that the FS was filed. It was the sudden barrage of figures that were incidentally taken from the announcement on 13th Dec prior to the last spike in the share price and the reference to �2 and the 'so it begins'. I just don't think its healthy for the long term to create a wave of panic buying and trading. I also feel sorry for the people that get caught out and buy on a spike, something that used to happen to me in the distant past. I also get irritated by with authoritative statements saying where the share price is going with reference to L2 and creating false dawns, as our friend realdeal tends to do. I am certainly not trying to kick this share and as I said its not a bad entry point if you want to get invested.

Phil I totally get the significance of a FS. My understanding is that the key information was posted on 13th Dec and today the full document has come out providing all the back up information. What I object to is the presentation in yours and others posts that the headline figures are new information in a lame attempt to ramp the share which might cause another temporary spike which would suck in a load more traders and not long term holders. addicknt, totally agree with you, know one can predict short term price movements including realdeal2! I believe in this share long term but have no idea whether it may go down another 10pence or not. Regardless of any possibility that it may go down in the short term it would not seem a bad entry point if you want to invest here.

I know I am going to appear completely stupid here, but would be really grateful if someone could explain how this is different from the announcement on 13t December. All the figures being quoted seem exactly the same as that announcement. I want to be exited so it would be useful to know what is new information.

Surely the SP is just returning to the trend before the recent spike. I am hoping for a new higher low then hopefully SP will make steady progress. Maybe someone more into charts could comment.

I don't think it matters. It may even drop some more. I am in this share for the long game now. It would be all too easy if everything rose in a straight line. Just try not to buy on a spike.

Yes, but they are achieving this by slowly dropping the price. Without more news this will probably drift lower and this maybe inevitable after the recent spike. Look at the charts after other sp spikes. But at the end of the day this doesn't matter, since as others have pointed out this share is going places. There is no need to worry about short term rises and falls unless you are a trader, it is the trend that matters. If everything just rose in a straight line it would be too easy.
