The headline figure is a bond for £150million. There is a second bond for £56 million. Does that mean that there is a total facility for £206 million? Would be grateful if somebody could explain. If that is the case this would be even more excellent news.

Can't quite understand why the price has not rocketed more. We were at £1.49 last January. This news should take us way beyond that because most of the risk has been removed.

Why would anyone invest in KDNC to get exposure to BCN? To get full exposure it would seem obvious top invest direct.

Out of interest where does it say they are raising most through equity? If debt comes first this may substantially lift share price which will reduce number of shares. Is that the plan?

I do have some sympathy for your sentiment, but having wider market approval is part and parcel of a sustained recovery. To me having the politics solved means having a stable government in place with a 'clear' direction, no riddles and not just various interpretations from the press. I would also like to see some high level contact between EMH and the government agreeing a way forward. I always thought the MoU was not the main point.

I wish people would stop getting so excited when the share goes up a bit saying we have turned the corner and then throwing their hands in the air when it goes down again. We have had a few of these mini spikes now and this share is turning into a traders dream. Don't think this share will properly recover until the politics is solved. The lithium recovery rate RNS was nice but it will only take us so far. Sold the majority of my holing back in the 30's and fully intend to buy more again when politics is solved and when I am convinced there is a sustained recovery. I am not going to panic buy, I don't particularly care if I miss the very bottom and would rather play it safe.

What's with the name Mr Strange. Is it meant to be a joke? Not sure what your post is trying to say anyway. It would be slightly less attractive and smaller returns for an equity partner if the price was �1.50. Lets all just pick figures out of the air, that would be fun. I am sure that's how they are doing the negotiations.

Hopefully funds will be raised on the value of the project, not on the day to day share price. Or is this wishful thinking. My impression is that BCN have negotiated reasonable deals for equity raise in the past, hopefully this will pan out in the future. With the way the company has been talking about time lines for development and construction I get the impression that a deal for funding must be pretty well advanced already.

For any take over to go ahead the existing shareholders would need to agree to it and why would they agree anything at a lowball price when there is so much potential. I think any talk of a take over is a red herring and irrelevant at the moment. My main concern at the moment has been the way the price has dropped over the past few weeks, just before funding. The drop has been based on relatively few share sales. It would not have been too difficult for one of the large players to drip feed a few sells in order to depress the share price, maybe with a view to setting a lower price for any funding agreement.

Little bit confused how to vote for this. Looking at proxy form and can't really make out where it is mentioned. Not sure I would make much difference anyway.

Would be really interested to know current cash position for emh. To me this is critical. I am fully on board with the long term business case for emh, however I am worried that they do not have the resources to push through the political shenanigans. I think emh have right on their side and any arbitration would come out in their favour, but can they outlast the time wasting created by the politics. We are told that the project is progressing behind the scenes, but all the time the bank balance must be going down. To me the worst case would be having to do another fund raise at these levels. Although the price has risen nicely this morning, volumes are unconvincingly low, so show no real confidence. I sold most of my shares in the low 30's. I would like to reinvest, but am still too nervous to do so. Can anyone offer some reassurance on this issue.

Well that was a nice surprise to see share price recovery when I got in. This mornings news has just been brushed aside. Now the uncertainty over this matter has gone confidence seems to have returned. Only wish I had had some cash to invest this morning.

The question I always ask myself when the price of a stock I hold drops like this is - If I had some spare cash (which I don't) would I invest more at this price? The answer in this case is undoubtedly 'yes'. Therefore regardless of having bought my shares for more, it would be bizarre if I now sold some.

This is a quote taken from RNS - "Management is evaluating different funding options with a view to entering the construction phase for Sonora within H1 2018". For this to be true the company must be fairly advanced with discussions for this funding. The failure of the NextView deal could therefore very quickly become irrelevant. The NextView deal is relatively small compared to the funding that needs to come. The failure of the deal could potentially give BCN more flexibility in their negotiations for the full project finance. Kicking myself for topping up at 112p, but staying put now. This could turn around in the blink of an eye if an announcement is made about funding, which could come out of the blue just likr this mornings RNS.

I am really going to be showing my ignorance here. But is it possible that the previous equity raise is being delayed because a bigger deal is being put together which may involve slightly more equity together with debt facilities to fund mine construction.

When the placing was first announced I don't think it was at a discount. The SP rose on the news.

Increases the number of shares, but raises the value of the company. As long as you believe that the company will use the money wisely, to increase the value of the company. If you don't maybe you shouldn't be invested here.

Sorry it did read like that. I agree with you, I think if the deal went through it would be looked on favourably. But I can't help thinking that the delay may be connected in some way to this latest news, maybe for nothing more than technical reasons.

I know but it was agreed and the SP did actually go down when the delay was announced.
