There seems to be strong resistance around an SP of 40.3p . My thinking is that the SP will hang around the 41p mark until further news and then maybe move up to 45 to 50p. Is that the consensus.

Not against this share. I think the prospects are rose tinted, that's why I invested here abate more recently than most. I enjoy reading the informed debate and research on this forum. My only objection is to the sort of comment that causes the SP to spike and dip playing into the traders hands although I suppose for long term holders this maybe irrelevant.

Well earthling seems that we are just about ok. I suppose if the "we" refers to people wearing a pair of rose tinted spectacles then I am not a "we".

Todays recovery seems to be slipping away now. It will not be a good signal if we can't stay in positive territory today.

Too much information

No reporting and discussing positive RNS's is not ramping, but predicting closing prices of say 40p buy end of day or week is and shouting anyone down who has a measured approach is. This just plays into the traders hands. If you are going to have peaks it follows you will have troughs.

This is exactly why people shouldn't listen to ramping. There was plenty of ramping going on when the SP was 37p sucking some poor mugs in. This was bound to happen with such a sharp rise. Long term I would assume all is fine though.

I am relatively new here and will have a higher entry point than many. If the price drops too much I will be on a paper loss. But I am not worrying even if it drops/consolidates to the low 30's The share has risen a lot over the past few weeks so this may happen but I know BHP's entry has provided a back stop. Long term I am really confident that I have made the right decision to invest here. I am trying not to watch the clock on the wall because time always moves more slowly when you do.

There seem to be a lot of duplicate cancelled trades going through from 24th at the moment. Does that have any significance?

Yes but doesn't all the chart stuff go out of the window if you have a potential bidding war about to possibly unfold.

There is a great potential story here but have to agree with addicknt about adjusting my time line for this investment. I have also been drawn to the shining light of SOLG where truly exciting things are happening at the moment and I am well on the way to making back what I have lost here. Hopefully I will be In a stronger better position to put some more capital in here at the right time.

That's all true but the project fundamentals haven't stopped us falling in the first place. I think we are easy prey for traders that may pump up a bounce , get everyone excited and then sell into any rise. I hope it can be sustained but I must admit to having been caught out by this quite a few times in the past and then ending up with a double loss.

I think people are just jumpy and don't want to miss out on any rise. Shows there is still interest and people are waiting to buy back in at the right time. Trouble is can't see rise maintaining unless we actually get some news.

Yes but I thought that at 70p and system stopped me buying. That was certainly my lucky day. I will not be panic buying even if the means I miss the bottom. This is still too volatile and could go anywhere. It is tempting to buy with a sudden price drop but there is no certainty it will bounce back at the moment.

I thought that looked like a cancelled trade. Anyway I don't really think it matters which ones are shown as buys or sells. All I know is that the price is moving steadily downwards and that is not good. To me that indicates selling pressure. I have no idea when the trend will stop. I am certainly not brave enough to put any more money in yet.
