For the vast majority daily mileage will be less than the battery range so home charging will be key, there won't be any need for a trip down to local garage. Infrastructure can then then be prioritised for those making longer trips. There maybe a problem for households that don't have their own parking space. If you own a £4 million house presumably you could afford a contract parking space. Maybe there's a business opportunity for someone to set up car parking/charging in built up areas.

My understanding is that solid state lithium batteries will use much more lithium, so all to the good. Use of other expensive metals such as cobalt will be reduced, make the batteries more economic.

Not sure I like a the talk of waiting till 2023. I am sure when the mine comes into production in 2023 that will be a big year, but we still have a lot happening in the very short term. Awaiting Garfeng report on cost savings, finalisation of financing and start of site works. All could have a significant effect on SP and help move us up to 118p target price. If everything falls into place we could see some significant movement here and I think that is the reason why we are starting to see a consistent rise.

Ironically the high the SP rises the more viable BCN becomes which will fuel further rises.

On the other hand there was no reason for it to be in the low 30's in the first place. Also I seem to remember that there was an RNS last Friday and the news is gradually sinking in.

BCN's share price was riding high until discussion moved to mine finance. The share price then fell despite the 100% off take agreements. Hopefully that will not now be a problem as referenced by various discussions on these pages.

Regarding EMH, if the plans for Tesla/VW etc come to fruition of course there will be a market for the lithium. However what are EMH's plans for mine finance? Sorry if that information is already out there, but I am not familiar with it.

Am I missing something. Between BCN and EMH I am mainly invested here. I do not quite understand why EMH continues to rise on the back of, which to me seems mainly speculation and no definitive news, and BCN where all the planets seem to be aligning, but where the share price seems reluctant to go beyond resistance levels.

Luckily your not in charge . I certainly wouldn't be happy nor would I suspect most. On another note I think there will be a massive boost to renewables if Biden wins US election.

When it says 'market purchases' I assume someone would need to agree to sell their shares to them.

This can't realistically drop much more because the company has almost more cash and assets than the current SP.

I find it ridiculous that the price has been dropped by so much in the past few day so such small share trade volume. Today less than £100k traded, both buys and sells in multi million pound company with a large bank balance. Can't help feeling this is being played for the advantage of the big shareholders and maybe a complicit management who seem to do little to give any support to the share price. There seems to be a deliberate attempt to keep the share price at these low levels. Maybe the senior management will reward themselves with lots of low priced shares when the financing is done. With more promotion by the company and more buying generally it would be harder for the share price to be kept down. I do however still believe in the long term prospect and will be riding this out.

However it would be nice for BCN to issue some kind of RNS regarding speculation in the press etc.

Presumably Garfeng would have looked into the issues of ownership and licences in the due diligence process before they bought in. If a company of that size is happy to invest millions, I do not know why a few small investors let themselves get spooked by an article in a newspaper.

The statements are a bit vague and probably needs some clarification from the company.

Your latest post seems to contradict your long term view expressed last Wednesday. I tend to agree with your latest post however and think things could happen very quickly here with several key matters coming to a head.

This project will continue to progress even if there was a consolidation in the market generally, due to the fact of low production costs. It will be the higher cost Australian producers that are squeezed out. This project is due to go on stream within the next couple of years and this will time nicely as demand for lithium continues to increase. We won't be trying to supply lithium into the market this year.

Should add if major share holders or company employees were trying to control the price for there own gain with prior knowledge of any news, that would be highly illegal and should be reported.
