Point being, i expect at some stage that either PRD, EOG, LOGP, or some combination, may find themselves in a more favourable situation with their Irish assets, be that after the energy security report finally gets published, or when a new Gov is formed.

The Greens, presently part of the coalition government, are obviously keen on wind, wind and more wind. But Ireland is still burning coal at the Money point power station to generate power, and households are still burning peat to heat their homes.

Minister Ryan of the Greens, presently in charge of the relevant department, doesn't want any new O&G projects, Varadkar doesn't seem to agree and thinks they need energy security while they transition. There is talk of an early election being called. Greens projected to win 1 seat last time i checked, so would be unlikely to form part of any new Gov.

PXC. Yeah, felt if it didnt move up first thing it would drop, figured i could buy back cheaper later today, but in the end i didnt bother.

There is some big energy report due out in Ireland soon, how they plan to transition, if they intend to have an LNG terminal offshore, develop own gas assets etc. Worth keeping an eye on EOG and PRD when it lands as either or both could benefit. Irish press suggest its due anytime.

PXC didnt move up as anticipated this a.m, so sold before it dropped. Did you get any joy with any bouncing bottoms?

Depends if one expects steel demand to increase or decline, macro isn't good atm, but that isn't to say there won't be large scale infrastructure spending, around 50% of steel goes into buildings/construction.

BCreek haven't provided the annual report and accounts as expected this morning, This is the second delay. Perhaps nothing, but ive sold anyway. Will buy back after ive seen the report.

As i mentioned i got a few yesterdays, BB sentiment seemed so bad that i figured sentiment isn't going to drive the price much lower, so its just on the updates provided. Im only holding a few.

Yeah, on the subject of copper - i got a few PXC. RSI closed just above 30 today, Zak charted them earlier, reckons the dip into 17 may have been a bear trap. All hinges on finance though, the fabled bonds that are well over due.

Also picked up a few BCreek, just a smidge, rather, depends on how bad the update is thats due Friday, and if its paired with some better news on recent developments. Its broken above a falling trend line which i guess it may retest, support also with the 50-day MA at a similar level.

AXl picking up, warrants due to expire end of October. With the Oil price they should be flying but at least they aren't going down :)

They are all copper plays, with a dash of gold. There has been so much bullish publicity re copper, but it just hasn't translated into SP appreciation for any of the explorers. JLP, yeah forgot that one lol. Busy guy!

GLR have Lithium in the mix which might explain the SP stability.

Colin Bird not having much success of late, i dont know what's going on with BZT? They had assets that seemed decent, perhaps the SP just reflects dilution and sector sentiment?

GLR has held up ok, think they produce now though, XTR bushranger was a flop. Has a few others too KEN, AFP, TIR.

It's an issue for CGNR (gold) too, just a general anti mining sentiment, can't recall the details now but one side of the house in Ireland were opposed to any new mining full stop. It was one of the factors that prompted me to sell. Their licence extends cross border into NI so it may have been an issue that side of the border.

Its perhaps just an anti-mining thing i imagine, environmental impact of the mining process etc.
