Im not familiar with the SA political system, but i presume the AFF as the minority partner, presently polling around 10%, would be very unlikely to get such an extreme policy into any potential coalition agreement?

Todays news means further delay to that testing, hence the markets reaction. However, news of a memorandum of understanding for gas sales will now precede the testing program, that, in of itself should lift the SP imo.

50 day line is at 6.07, recent resistance at 6.05, so thats the area to watch if it gets up there.

Yeah, you can read it several ways Tro, i had to make a decision and went with how i felt, which was relieved that it wasn't some catastrophic issue, I had expected TD over a week ago!

Thing is the managements Rep. is fairly lousy right now, so its almost priced in that there will be screw ups. All that matters is that they find commercial helium, the RNS, if it does anything, suggests thats marginally more likely to me.

Figured the mention of Helium has to be worth around 5.7 or so, MMs opened it way down due to delay, but its easily addressed so fairly inconsequential.

TBH, after such a long delay, the relatively minor issue they have with the drill is almost a relief.

I can safely hold whilst the drill is being fixed for a few days, and hopefully get my target price while we wait.

That's the plan anyway.

According to the associated RNS, the rig broke down on the night of the 4th, market updated on the 5th via RNS and a proactive interview. During that interview Lorna suggested that prior to the breakdown everything was going according to plan, and that they had been on schedule to reach TD that coming weekend.

From point of breakdown to the end of that weekend (Sun 8th) equates to four full days.

The most recent RNS states that drilling recommenced last Sunday afternoon, four full days ago.

Expect an RNS.

I think AIM has just about reached capitulation.

By that i mean the idea of buying to hold. There are exceptions of course, by generally speaking its all trending down. The mining sector is unbelievable, so many outfits with a fraction of the Mcap they had recently, irrespective of progress.

The owner of X, formerly Twitter, recommended two accounts on Sunday. He wrote: “For following the war in real-time, @WarMonitors and @sentdefender are good. It is also worth following direct sources on the ground. Please add interesting options in the replies below.”

The @WarMonitors account told a user in June “go worship a jew lil bro” while both accounts helped to spread a false claim in May that an explosion had occurred at the Pentagon.
