take your point but the horse has to run round faster than the others whereas here the bet is how long it will take the BoD to get their ramping up to any effect. they have probably got a backlog of ramps up held back for just that. there is a % here to be had just on their track record of duplicitous self interest

There was an excellent post on ADVFN 6 months ago setting out how much each Director has awarded themselves from this company in salary inflations, bonuses and all. Their motivation are clear but also is their ability to talk ramp the SP when they want to (a bit like BRH).

I sold out a long while ago but have been wondering whether there is a drawback in buying back in to ride on their next set of ramp up scams. Could this go much lower? Why isn't it a good bet? Apart for hating them and never trusting them, we can be reasonably confident in their ramping the share next.

DHSC resolution is important. A business facing the "possible" (but not probable) pay out of 129m would sit on the cash until any possibility of having to pay was removed IMO. DHSC resolution would determine fate of debt & cash set aside. they seem stuck now waiting for resolution less able to move on, unresolved relationships with NHS to the extent they are conflicted by the DHSC issue.

hamster if you remember Boris visited Mologic somewhere in Bedfordshire in late Feb/early March 20 showing how British (i.e. post brexit message there) biotech was able to respond to Covid - Mologic being in the RTC formed at the government's request (my note says/ might be inaccurate) involving Sir John Bell, ODX, ABDX, Ciga Healthcare & BBI Solutions.

It looks as though the bad stuff has got away cash on collection and the leading UK diagnostics specialists invited by the government to form the RT Consortium been put to different standards on accreditation, awarded very little with ABDX treated badly if its description is right. The GLP action seems to about whether the government should have tried to form an RT Consortium as the pandemic broke in early 2020 that they later side lined. Why go after that as an issue when there are more obvious ones like Innova, Randox?

The situation ABDX describes in the DHSC sounds bad. Like a higher authority has forced agreements to be reneged on in Boris style blanket denial & rewriting of reality.

The process is to obtain a judgement against the debtor as it would with any other party that has entered a contract. There are steps that follow once the court has decided that the claim. The problem in this case seems to have been receipt of mixed messages, or rather a message from one part of the DHSC being overruled by another. I don't know whether there is also another recourse outside contract law for the damage caused to a supplier by a government department but we really should band together in social media and via MPs about the politics of the DHSC's bad actions a) in damaging long established reputable specialist by sharp business practice & b) in favour of a small number of front companies set up during the pandemic to supply goods that have often been poor quality or just unusable.

I am pleased that ADBX state their position clearly.

I wonder whether they have been caught like an innocent bystander in backlash against some awful, and possibly corrupt, procurement decisions in the DHSC such as PPE, Innova and Randox.

The government is carrying on as though infection is irrelevant, perhaps they only look at hospitalisations or worse. It seems crazy but proof will be in the seriousness of the consequences. Perhaps it was a pity Johnson didn't get Whitty to inject him with Covid on TV as it was reputed to have wanted when it began, it might have done the rest of us a favour.

An uninformed guess would be that something may have determined NCYT NOT to supply such as having supplied a huge amounts, not been paid for some of it, and then supplying PROmate that to be taken on a non payment ride too. Someone must be hopping mad at having pulled out all the stops in face of a national emergency to be held over a barrel for payment during a unique time for the company with crushing effect on it. Suppliers usually ask for payment in advance when agreements with customers have reached this extent of confusion & distrust. NCYT should publicise the availability of its product in the press on cash terms to bring some pressure on the DHSC to treat NCYT's new supplies fairly.
