Base support has remained above $40k with significant liquidity around $42k, floating above at the moment but impossible and foolish to predict BTC in the short term as always. Medium to long term is the only thing that matters in this sector, either you believe it's going up or you don't. each to their own :-)

I don’t think that was a price prediction. The example was just given as a hypothetical projection of increased market share in store of wealth assets, compared to investment in gold. They just illustrated that if BTC took 50% share in that market in the next five years (from 20% now) then its mCap would be equivalent to $100k valuation. But that’s without any other use cases or changes. Just an illustration. Actual predictions put BTC at $100k well before that date.

Texas is 100MW for the initial install (doubling ARB’s current hash power). Phase 2 would build out the same again. The existing site could hold 4x 100MW (which double again). There is an option to buy the adjacent plot of land to repeat. 800MW is long term capacity for further doubling options (but not a short term objective).

Exactly. Building shell completed in December. Infrastructure completed in March (Q1). Commissioning in Q2.

I’m taking average monthly rather than current month. I think ARB has been the most efficient in the sector.

It amazes me that a company can put out figures like this, which confirm best in sector annual growth, best in sector mining efficiency, and future growth plans all on schedule, with no debt, and people come on here complaining. Beggars belief.

Really good set of numbers, the full year financial report for 2021 will look impressive overall.

Good to see the monthly mining figures well above 200 in December, that’s well above expectation and excellent efficiency rate. Hodl now over 2,500 BTC from just 500 a year ago, up by x5 in a year (beating all other miners in relative growth, with machines already paid for to more than double hash in 2022).

It says ‘on schedule’. Maybe if you actually read the construction schedule you’d save yourself a lot of bother and speculation. Completion of electrical infrastructure for final testing and commissioning March/April.

Of course it's a risky share. It's AIM, it's wildcat drilling, in virgin territory, under a sandy lakebed, for an untested class of resource. Nevertheless, as risky shares go, it has huge potential and HE1 has established exceptional track record of diligence on the asset appraisal so far. They had maybe a one in four or five chance of discovery on each shot. Had they managed four or five shots we might be in a different place, but the chances only increase with added data and more robust drilling kit. High risk, high reward.

This is good for ARB though because if competitors drop out of the market due to dirty energy costs then the hash rate will go up for those who have negotiated smart supply agreements using cheap renewables. A low cost, flexible and sustainable power supply agreement is the single biggest asset for a mining operation - one where ARB has a considerable market advantage in its growth plans.

The extra capacity was mostly, but not all, installed in November so I wouldn't be expecting a full throttle month in December. But barring any mishaps I wouldn't be surprised if they squeezed close to 200. There would be some PR incentive to hit 2,000 for the year if they can (it was 1,831 BTC by end of November, so I'll be quite satisfied with 170+ mined in December).

Absolutely this is the issue. BLU is an investment company. Any 'news' must come from the companies they are invested in, not from BLU. Current speculation on BLU shares is based on current speculation about the companies they are invested in. If those companies have not issued any news then there is no news.

Volume is irrelevant to consideration of growth return on investment for shareholders (it's also nowhere near 'hundreds of millions of dollars difference every day'). ARB's growth rate is faster, at higher profit margin, with lower energy costs, better financial position, and not under investigation by the regulatory authority. MARA's mining model will also not withstand a bear market and they'll probably do what they've done in the past, cash in and switch to a different business. There are better alternatives among the miners.

With respect, you either picked the worst possible day to sell this week (given the likely trend reversal in BTC, December operation update with increased hash, and year end financial statement about to land) or you're trying to talk the price down, but good luck and you make less loss on your next trade.

That’s not what it means. It may be rising on reasonable expectation of news from companies in which there is investment but where there has not been actual ‘news’. It’s essential that those companies are not suspected of leaking news, so the BoD has to state publicly that they are not aware of undisclosed news but that doesn’t mean an absence of reasonable confidence in the investments paying off.
