I imagine that I'm not the only one on this board who doesn't have an occasional feeling of guilt that although Oil is used to produce good things (like fuel for our cars ) it also produces some useless garbage (like single-use plastic drinking bottles … a lot of which end up in our oceans).
So maybe Oil & Gas Co.s could donate a small amount of profit/barrel to help the clean-up. This may then help improve their image, which has become a little tarnished lately because of the likes of Greta and those idiots from Extinction Rebellion.

That's not the impression that I've got.
I thought that the oil belonged to BP at the moment that the transfer hose is disconnected. HUR are then paid Spot price by BP ( minus a small commission per barrel )

By off-loading yesterday, HUR should be about £ 1/2 million better off than today being as Brent is down $1.50 at the moment.

Those of us who comment about too many shares outstanding are talking about dilution not consolidation.
You and daltry obviously were not invested in HUR back in summer 2017 during the warrants debacle and then the raising of $500 million capital by issuing over 1 billion shares.
Long term holders saw their investment drop over 50% in a few weeks.
If they could have borrowed the money instead there would be less than 1 billion shares outstanding and the SP would now probably be in the 70's rather the 30's. ( of course they may have tried to borrow but had no luck ).
But I agree with you that consolidation at this stage would be stupid.

Agreed … fractured basement and fracking are two completely different concepts and I am not confused (and neither are the 'BIGBOYS')
But things have gone wrong with other FB in the past with a similar result of production dropping off … I think it was Vietnam but I can't find the reference.

I wonder if some of the 'BIG BOYS' are waiting to see if what is happening in the Permian may also start to happen in Lancaster.
That is why Dr. T has said that they want at least 6 months of data from EPS in order to fully prove (to the doubters) the concept of fractured basement in Lancaster.

In an earlier post, you reckoned that FFD for GLA would need 3 or 4 $Billion.
Catcher cost $1,6 Billion and Sealion ( if/when it ever gets done ) will cost $1.8 Billion.
So why do you think GLA will cost as much as the other 2 put together.

Thanks for the interesting link.
But one thing that bothered me was on page 6.
It reckons that sanction will be in the next 12 months ( assuming secured funding ) and first oil will be about 3.5 years later.
That's a total of 4.5 years ! … I'm already 82 and in poor health … I'm just hoping I last that long.
