I agree. I was under the impression that Dr. T's talk was to be about fractured basements in general and not about Hurricane in particular.

We are getting info as to when the flaring takes place (even photos) etc.
What intrigues me is HOW ?
Mobile phone signals only travel about 40 miles max. and it's a lot further than that to Shetland … unless BT have a cell tower floating WOS !
There are probably satellite phones on board the rigs but wouldn't think that whoever is posting this information will have access to them.
So how is it done ?

During the Battle of Britain in 1940, the Hurricane shot down more German planes than the Spitfire.
Maybe Dr. T, when he named his company Hurricane, wanted to show it some of the recognition and respect that it justly deserved but was denied by the R.A.F.
Weirdly, even the German pilots found it more honourable to be shot down by a Spitfire than a Hurricane !

I too was in Libya (back in the 60's) as an Air Radar technician in the R.A.F and got to hear lots of 4 engine jets … but there's nothing quite like the sound of an Avro Vulcan bomber taking off.

If (as we all hope) WW is flowing at least 6 thousands barrels a day while testing, that works out at more that 4000 gallons per hour.
A Boeing 767, with 4 damned big jet engines, only uses about 3500 gals/hour.
No wonder that the flare can be seen miles away ( especially at night ) … it must be massive and very impressive sight .
I wonder if it sounds like 4 jet engines ?

That was a long read (I'm a slow reader) but very well worth it.

I think TLW has problems which hopefully we won't have with Sea Lion.
The TLW problem is QUALITY not QUANTITY.

I'm a bit disappointed in you that you found "autocorrected moniker for Bloobird (Bloodied)" to be hilarious even after I had explained that I DID nearly die from pneumonia and spent 4 weeks in hospital.

So you're quite happy for the SP to rise on rumour ?
Rumours work both ways … would you be just as happy if rumour drove it down ?
Maybe you day traders would be… but I'd much rather that the SP reflected the true facts.

There has been some criticism of HUR putting out an RNS but if you look at the following graph , between 10 a.m and 10,50 the SP was heading straight up based on a rumour.
At 10.51 HUR stepped in and stopped it … which I think was the right thing to do.
