This would be nothing more than guessing and has caused damage in the past so after everything that's happened, it won't be helpful to throw numbers around that are mainly based little more than on hopes and fears.

..whilst waking up to an amazing result this morning would've been transformational for me personally, if the outcome Nanoco has achieved was deemed as disappointing, the SP hasn't faltered anywhere near as much as I would've expected.

If the share price tanks it'll have a seriously negative effect on my future plans. If it soars I'll be able to make the lives around me of those I love moderately better.

If I had to choose, I'd rather have the former than be the kind of person who needs to take pleasure in seeing someone*else* experience that.

I think we'll just have to agree to disagree here ;) But from first hand experience and cold hard common sense, billion dollar companies tend to put billions of dollars at the top of their priorities. At that kind of scale, human beings subjugate to the whole and no individual - or their feelings - matter more.

I've worked for multinationals including a very large famous one with a Japanese HQ and I think your view is highly idealistic. We're talking billion dollar corporations here which usurp individual cultural values, no matter the country.

Or, to put it another way: It is very difficult to get a man to understand something if his salary depends on his not understanding it.

Let's just remember though Samsung isn't a human being. I'm not saying culture isn't important but I think that's a little too simplistic a lens to view the entire case through.
