Wasn't it partly explained in the Higher Maths question posted here a few weeks ago ? It was along the lines of:
a) If £8,000 is all that is left after a £3,000,000 raise three months ago, how long will it be before a £2,000,000 raise has all been spent? Remember to show your working.
b) What happens then?
Might this guy be interested in taking over the Scotgold reins?
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/fame-fortune/rogue-trader-nick-leeson-jail-investing/
Or is it more a certain someone thinking, "hold my beer" ?
On what grounds, Happyhaddock, do you remain a "cautiously hopeful" share holder?
Unless I'm missing something the list of possible, even quite likely, doomsday scenarios are there in abundance, and in the positive column we've got
* a (deliberately truncated?) snapshot indicating some of the recent grades are good.
* a new piece of kit on order - hopefully we can afford to plug it in/fill it with fuel
* the outside chance of a new CEO working miracles - but remember we've been told in no uncertain terms that it's now all about about grades and quantity.
Who or what is TG??
"Significant challenges obviously remain for Scotgold. "
Stark and ominous.
"Significant challenges obviously remain for Scotgold but the board remains confident that with the appointment of our new CEO the company will quickly reach production targets previously stated, and profitability." Something like that would have been good to see....if true of course.
Maybe they're not confident of that and feel that whoever they get (Pep?) the end is nigh. Or maybe we'll get something vaguely positive when the appointment is made. How much more cash will we have got through by then?
Carry on, Scotgold. More of a farce than any of the films.
imo
He/she/xhy+ (commitment to equity remember) would have to be certain that there would be cash available just like football managers expect.
Given a raise at 40p followed by another at 15p shortly after, the apparently perilous cash position and the warnings that they're comfortable sharing with us, I'm not sure the big boys will guarantee stumping up yet again. It's not as if we're sitting on gold mine or anything. But if they don't......
Pure speculation on my part but I wonder if the departure was a precondition of MM joining and the directors' support a few weeks ago.
"Phil Day, Scotgold Resources CEO said, "I am very pleased with what we as a team have accomplished during my time as CEO. "
Does that include taking the share price from roughly to 75p to 15p?
Congratulation to those who went for "to spend more time with family" at 7/2 ?
TB - you wrote here that this was time to shine. Lol.
Significant challenges - yes, indeed.
Grades look encouraging.
"This Chat room should have a Sanity Clause"
I know the shops start with Christmas earlier every year but the end of May is ridiculous.
...nature of the latest twitter instalment should be easy to verify and fix or disprove and dismiss.
At least it should be easy if management is on site and not in a Swiss chalet.
imo
Why would a complete stranger's misdemeanours be of any interest to me? Even if all 100% true, is there any bearing on this company's share price?
I'm asking rhetorically so don't waste your time replying.
There are however thousands upon thousands of reasons why I'm interested in what the share price of this company is. Not quite as many as you though. Lol.
I'm wanting to see something on the telly later in peace so have a nice evening worrying and posting about 'vexatious' strangers while advising others to get a life. LOL.
Not tempted to spin us a yarn about the multiple new faces and how they will presage the dawn of a golden new beginning?
You know you want to ;-)
Yes! Lol.
But that's just it. I have no interest in trawling through anyone's posting history and taking screenshots. None at all.
I really do have a life.
What has company's share price done in the 12 year period you've posted here cheering from the rooftops? That and that alone is why I refer to some of your posts as any sane person would realise.
No handbag but I do have a sporran somewhere lol.
Well, the insults part has gone better than expected.
As for nostalgia, I guess it's just not what it used to be.
Come on, TB - for old time's sake:
And so it begins.....
If only I could still afford a life........
No one here or elsewhere is capable of rattling my cage whereas you seriously seem to think everyone takes the time to collaborate and conspire. Your good nature and repartee desert you when your cage is rattled which strangely seems all the time. Lol.
If he based his decisions on insults on bulletin boards that might come across as strange but it's up to him. He's probably better off not having invested here however he came to that decision.
Further nostalgia - give us another or your fairytale tweets that begin with,
"And so it begins...."
Woof woof.
Has the title of the thread finally dawned on you?? Doh!
Well done, Lofty boy.
You're the one who comes across as an HR Karen - wanting, expecting, nay demanding, to know other people's whereabouts in and out of office hours. Sadly it's been a while since I've been around Crianlarich but that has sod all to do with you or anyone else. Funnily enough I was on the Paisley Glasgow frontier just a few days ago. Lol.
With expensive medical treatment, thankfully I'd largely got over it until I saw his name on the twitter file! Thanks for your concern. Touched.
A bona fide Zimbabwean prince and I are organising a trip to see Caledonian Mining as that is the only way of finding out the truth about listed companies. Interested parties should send me a deposit of £15,000 along with their full bank details and I'll get you on the list. Visitors to the mine will not be subject to an omertà, unlike that imposed on those who visited Cononish a few short weeks ago. (This is a joke LSE.)
Woof.
"I don't remember Hick telling us all or anything that you have said , nor can I remember him coming across as you have said..."
So what?
His ill-judged filth wasn’t directed at you and it was eight or more years ago so of course you wouldn’t remember.
It was directed at me and was way outside any parameters of what one might expect to see on social media or a bulletin board so of course I do remember.
But anyway, if you feel it’s your duty to take umbrage on behalf of some foulmouthed toss**’s behalf, - what did you make of the implied threat that the twitter overseer received? - I’m sure everyone here is pleased to see you chip in with YOUR informative post particularly given the title I gave this thread LOL.
"Attack dog" Dougal enters stage right at 1:23 https://youtu.be/c3DcChXNyYQ
Woof.
Hickfromthesticks was imo this board's only floating toldy. Some of you might need this: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=floating%20toldy
Obscene and obnoxious, and despite his obscenity at me being eight years ago or more, forgiveness and forgetting aren't in my vocabulary. (See what I did there? lol)
Didn't he tell us he was ex-forces and from Paisley? Was that to scare and impress us? Well, I'm terrified, hick, you absolute cretin if you're still around. And yes, I'd tell you to your face in the unlikely event we ever meet. Mind you, if he's ex military he's more likely to have taken all the injections and boosters as he was told.....you know the rest.
TB - interpreting "aside from lower than expected grade" as good news and actually meaning the grade is from the time of writing excellent is somewhat farfetched.
Can't whoever used to go and mow, go now and mow, with his dog, a particularly large meadow?
I'm sure they did. So did I lol.
But since then?
Err, yes really. It might be convention not to take the Lord's name in vain but if someone refers to my nom de plume in an unsolicited way, there's not a lot I can do about it.
On this occasion you're definitely putting two and two together and getting five. (Like whoever cooked Scotgold's books? lol).
Of much more interest is why punters, speculators, professional investors, high net worth individuals, gold bugs and of course our beloved market makers don't seem to be taking on board the enormous potential of the blasts, the stopes, the drives and the new faces.
Fishing, teasing....whatever you want to call it is fine by me.
I don't have any twatter mates nor am I naïve enough to think everything posted there is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth but I did pay attention to what PD and the company told us shareholders.
And if lhs is blasting us all to success, there will be few happier and more relieved bunnies than me.
Let's go, Bra***n!!!
And don't take my word for it:
This is from May last year.

"Mr Day also tapped into what he says is among the best gold seams in the world."

Why aren't people filling their boots? Any ideas TB?
