What does the accumulated wisdom of the board suggest the reason is for what some seem to suggest is the discrepancy between the company's actual production figures and those presented in the Q4 trading update?

May is less than a week away. Are we starting work on new mines or not? If not, why were we told only a few weeks ago that we would? What happened to the money raised via the last raise? Where has it gone if it's already gone and therefore cannot be earmarked for new exploration work?

The lineup of those supporting the offer looks impressive and if they've done their due diligence we might be onto a winner here, Rodney. On the other hand, what happened to the due diligence done by all those big hitters over the last 12 years? Everyone seems to have got it painfully wrong over and over again.

That name has cropped up periodically for years and has earned us zilch thus far so it doesn't really the pass the "so what?" test.

I'll retract that if we get going there next week. Only very recently we were told we'd get going with new areas in May. ...presumably another target to fall by the wayside.

In all the years on this board haven't there only been two or three who seem to have a desire to see the failure of SG? One or two on twitter and one tipster who doesn't aIways call things correctly. Can't see they are important to the market makers or, indeed, at all.

What puzzles me about the need for the new equipment is how on earth 12 or 13 years in can it suddenly be crucial to our future? (C.f. yayay's margarine manufacturer example.) How long will it take to procure and how long before it is operational on site?

I've also grown very cynical about what was and was not revealed and the timing thereof but I'm not sure the point you're making, Samson.

Separately, imagine what it must be like operating a mine in a country where (criminal?) political corruption is rife. LOL.

He should indeed be able to pick a winner but cynic that I am, I can't help feeling suspicious about the timing of the last raise and what was known, when, and by whom.

Joe Public could buy the shares at 40 pence and a few weeks later industry insiders can load up at 15 pence.

Not everything on Twitter is true but someone wrote earlier today that PD isn't visiting the UK anymore and that he hasn't left his house in Switzerland since Feb. It also says: "CFO was onsite yesterday lying to us."

Can anyone confirm?

This is all a good listen but in the light of today's news maybe fast forward to 18 minutes to hear PD talk about the importance of being and remaining cash flow positive, and of having money for rainy days. "The cash position of the Company as at 31 March 2023 was £8k" Hilarious!

Reality might suggest we managed to get through £2,992,000 in just a few weeks, and that after what we were also told was a transformational year.

What was the money spent on? When was it known it was going to be spent on whatever it was spent on? Was telling us that the work being used for work on new mines starting in May the truth?

There are still more questions than answers Andrew 1987, and your analogy with Rangers saying they'd bring in £100 million, but omitting to tell people it was reliant on winning the Champions League, was brilliant. If it comes to it, and a judge allowed it. it would sway any jury.

On the other hand, things are finally going to plan, so we're told, and the market makers for once didn't use a raise as an excuse to butcher the value of the company: somewhat counterintuitively, perhaps, they value it higher today than yesterday.

a) If all but £8,000 of £3,000,000 disappears after three months, how long will between £1,500,000 and £2,000,000 last?

b) What happens when that money runs out? Show your working.

What happened to the money raised just a few weeks ago? Wasn't it £3,000,000? Where is it, Scotgold?

No mention of the exploration work that only a few weeks ago we were told was going to start in May. Is it still going to happen in May or not?

Glaring omissions imho.

Whatever the share price is linked to it certainly doesn't appear to be statements to the national broadcaster like those who bought early into the project are going to be happy, or the facts'n'figures presented at February's Declaration of Edinburgh.
