focusIR May 2024 Investor Webinar: Blue Whale, Kavango, Taseko Mines & CQS Natural Resources. Catch up with the webinar here.
The full price is £14K, discounted to £6,200 provided the headcount is less than 250 .. I don't know if Avacta has 250+ employees for (diagnostics/Therapeutics) ?? or not .. Just looked it up and it is 123 people.
Maybe they review the bigger firms first on the basis that they can get larger t/o of tests?? IDK??
Step 2: desktop review
This review assesses the evidence a supplier submits against a minimum required data set.
This step prevents products that are below the expected standards from progressing to the market as set out in the Medical Devices (Coronavirus Test Device Approvals) Regulations 2021. The assessment is done in 3 steps:
A scientific adviser reviews it.
The desktop review assurance group assesses the submission.
The regulatory approvals committee then considers it.
DHSC aim to have the results of the review within 20 working days, but this may take longer if there’s a high volume of applications. DHSC will prioritise certain applications where necessary, for example if it’s in the interests of public health.
If DHSC need more information, you must respond in 20 working days. If you do not respond within 20 days, your application might be rejected.
Complaints
Applicants who want to complain about the process should email ctdacomplaints@dhsc.gov.uk. You must include a full summary of the complaint and any supporting information you consider relevant.
Is it worth complaining??? that they are taking too long .. Not supporting UK industry etc.
F**K
Yawn ..
Yes, he says a lot of things .. and most of the time it does not happen ..
But I would love it ..if and when it does.
BTW/ I have a clock at home. It tells the time very accurately twice a day...
No HUA
Then no £5 before Xmas
Definitely lurking on the board.....Bishop has already deleted the tweets stating "Medusa Ended the Avacta relationship"
Is that true then??
I just looked him up.. he died in 2005..
It must be another John King.. common name.
John Leonard King, Baron King of Wartnaby (29 August 1917 – 12 July 2005) was a British businessman, who was noted for leading British Airways from an inefficient, nationalised company to one of the most successful airlines of recent times. This success was a flagship of Margaret Thatcher's privatisation programme. He was also directly involved with the "dirty tricks" campaign waged by British Airways, against Virgin Atlantic.
Is that the ex BA Chairman?
Currently, for €80m, theu could have purchased a quarter of the company.. it is severely undervalued.
Yawn...heard this before..
But one day it will be right ...

Sorry, but I can't imagine sales of Covid- testing kits to be that great if you are one of the 1,125 providers ...
I really don't understand why Avacta did not run through the Porton Down testing regime (including the process of freezing the samples) prior to test. I think most researchers would have been prudent enough to test their new baby with rhePorton Down methodology. If they had done that, then they would have been in a very much better place now..
I find it unbelievably arogant that they did not...
I am currently well under and waiting for lift off..
I am hoping to top up before lift off... but the silence from Avacta about contracts, sales etc is deafening..
A great story Poirot....
For the Dreamers ....
It won't happen till it happens
You are like the impatient kids at Xmas waiting for their Xmas pressies .. funny
