How can a £5m. trade at £0.319 show as " unknown" when the ask is £0.031 ?

It appears that we are all just waiting and anticipating.

Not the news we expected but Greatland Gold has 4.4 bn shares in issue.

If our projects are successful and we become a producer of gold and other minerals then the number of shares in issue will gradually become of less importance.

It may hurt now but if all goes to plan we could enjoy a rewarding 2025. At least we should be fully funded { hopefully } and they seem keen on moving things forward as quickly as is possible.

How many AIM co's do you know or who you are invested in that keep its investors so regularly informed. RNS's like confetti at the moment simply illustrating just how much is going on.

I like the mixture of facts ,optimism, genuine excitement together with a sensible level of caution that our management team are showing.

No RNS tomorrow and withdrawal symptoms are likely to kick in!

As a LTH and with something like 45% down on my average I at last feel genuinely hopeful that in time this could turn out to be a highly rewarding investment.

All the raw material is there (literally) together with a highly positive management. Suffered so much in the past with "lifestyle " managers preaching b.s. , promising the earth , making little or no progress and then running out of money.

No guarantees of course but I am hoping that ECR will eventually deliver big time so as to compensate for losses incurred either through bad luck, greed or poor judgement.

Fair comment, but when you are £40K down you have to cling on to any hint of potential good news however unlikely that may be at least in the short term!

Assuming an eventual 2bn shares in issue and the current price of gold, ECR would have to mine and sell about half a ton of gold to achieve an s.p. of around 2p.

Lots of other factors could affect this result but it just gives a little perspective of the task ahead.

I am one of those poor sods who live in the North.

I live in a lovely 5 bedroom beautifully restored farmhouse in 2 acres of landscaped gardens with open views of farmland the Lakeland fells and the sea. The air is clean and pollution free, we have a very friendly village community, little or no crime and just light local traffic.

It really is a nightmarish place to live.

Assume 70mbs from Skerryvore to PMG. { maybe more }

Assume price of oil £65 pb. { probably more}

Assume profit of£20 pb after costs.

This equals £12+ per share.

Are these assumptions wildly optimistic or rather conservative?
