Vaccines v Therapies14 Nov 2020 09:31
I am convinced that given time ( the shorter the better ) pure facts will overcome the current hype re vaccines.
I understand the impatience and in some case the desperation of some people for a quick solution but how can any rational person trust something that has only taken months to develop even though billions has been thrown at it.
Consider the logistics, the as yet undetermined possible longer term effects, the intense pressure to capitalise on the potential massive financial gains ( though of course profitability has not been fully discussed) and why for example has the Pfizer share price barely moved.
This is why our pr team will soon have to shout from the rooftops if not outer space that sng001 has benefitted from 15 years of development , is non invasive , has a huge success rate which is likely to be further confirmed in the stage 3 trials, can be administered from home and can help in the treatment of a range of respiratory conditions.
To us a football analogy the greater the pre match hype the greater the match usually disappoints.
We are still the dark horse in this race but when the underdog wins the name is remembered for ever.
