Member Info for Bitbuybit

According to short tracker.co.uk - current disclosed short positions are at 6.79% - this has fallen from 8.89% on the 5th March 2020. Please be aware that they do not track disclosures after they drop below 0.5%. Possibly then more short positions in play than anyone of us could know.

Having said that, of the four funds showing declared short positions, they have ALL increased since the 5th March.

Latest moves are as follows:

Ennismore Fund Management LTD 2.42% short - increased by 0.12% on 5th March 2020
Lombard Odier Asset Management 0.60% short - increased by 0.02% on 18th March 2020
TT International Asset Management LTD 1.53% short - increased by 0.27% on 31st March 2020
Engadine Partners LLP 2.24% short - increased by 0.33% on 6th April 2020

On 3rd April disclosed short positions were at 6.46% so they have slightly increased since then.

The fun part will be the following days updates where we should get to see a reduction IF they get spooked by a rapidly rising share price. As of yet you would have to conclude that there are an awful lot of shorts to close.

For clarity I bought in this morning at 20.95 and HOLD.

In the interests of honesty I have to say I bailed this morning. Rainbow chasing maybe but got 4.033 for my 333,000 odd shares.
The SP is holding up very well here which I think bodes well.

This is....and a rerate based on its potential is surely imminent....

I’m the first to admit that I would like some tangible news. I just know tho that if I jump now I will miss a whopping gain. That’s just a reflection on my luck with trading over the last few years tho!

There has definitely been more interest in this stock lately tho, bigger chunky buys/sells and higher average volumes. For that reason I’m more comfortable holding and will see what plays out.

Website access has been awful. I can’t see the post I wanted to respond to but it was basically someone saying they’ve sold out because this is overvalued in the current environment.
I just wanted to add the contrarian view that says this is exactly the time to be buying VR stocks as there is now a renewed focus on the technology and how we engage with it.

Got to say also I’m amazed that the bid has held up so well today. Could it be that the impatient are selling and there is someone with deep pockets hoovering up whatever comes available?

Just my musings of course - I don’t have level 2 access - would that give us more of a clue? Anyone?

It would appear this is happening whether we can tell from the info accessible on LSE or otherwise. I appreciate “dummy sells” don’t mean squat but I’m being offered 3.88p for 333,000 so someone is definitely interested. If this gets over 4p it may surprise a few people. Having said that, a lot of companies are having a blue day - hopefully there is some substance to this smallish rise...

Agreed. Those 4 massive sells of 20 grand odd didn’t wobble it either. I’m holding and hoping, which on current form is about all any of us can do...

Nice to read the board this evening - interesting to read about NextVR being bought also. I was wondering if anyone new what intellectual property EvrH own, and whether they have patented any?
Looked on the investor relations site of the company and couldn’t find much info.

Wasn’t overly sold on the Big Gib twitter stuff initially as there are lots of pump and dump merchants that are about. Having said that, I looked further down and he/she had retweeted something re: lady Gaga (which was a chat between her and Jimmy Fallon - discussing something big). It may well turn out to be nothing MelodyVR related but it certainly made my ears prick up.

She’s a very savvy business woman (that’s known), but she also likes the be a ground breaker.....could well be a match made in heaven!

Not a lot to say other than for once I just might have got in on the ground floor at the right time. After losing far too much!
The more I look at this the more I think people are going to pile in - there simply won’t be a better opportunity - most other entertainment options are out and a simple stream just ain’t cutting it.

I will read more about what AM has been up to and I pray they take advantage of this captive audience. I’m not looking too much at the technology here but god knows we will need something to keep the kids off the street.....maybe a headset with some virtual reality will ease the pain...

FWIW and I’m usually the kiss of death - I think I agree with mr optimist, 5p will go and then 6’s. I’m hoping for news when the SP is a lot higher tho. And I’m going to let this one run....
