In the grand scheme of things it’s not massively shorted is it? Now premier oil IS mahoosively shorted. I think the RNS today should steady a lot of nerves. It’s a safety play in my opinion. The mortgage is large I accept but no worries until what 2022?

I'm sure there was a higher percentage short when this rode up from 20-27p range. Shorts then reduced very slowly but it didn't seem to have any real effect. Certainly no shorters spiked as they say.

And as someone just posted - dumping too many is detrimental to themselves. Let’s be honest they held a massive stake and 19% currently is still a very large position in one company. I’d rather they held less tbh - but would like it more if newer institutional investors came in at this level

A finish in the 18’s would be respectable considering the lows today and yesterday’s 20% drop. Any higher and I’d be sleeping happy
