I want to be more optimistic about this share but in reality it seems to be a traders share and any rise is immediately sold into. I’m in the same boat as Devilbhoy and also wish I had unloaded at 135p. For all the noise on the recent RNS I still read it as having shed a lot of cash but acquired (effectively) an overdraft facility. That facility by the way is absolutely priceless...if we hadn’t got that I imagine a cash call would’ve been on the cards. As it is, it does look like the ship is turning but it will still be another 6-12 months before we can relax a little. Higher margin contracts are being gained - but for an effective re-rate I suspect the market wants proof that what’s coming in is exceeding the spending that has been done to acquire those contracts. I would like also to see more of a breakdown on how Yu spent its cash in these last 12 months. If the majority of it was on one off call centre costs then I’m happier. What are the current running costs of the company is my biggest question right now.

Lets not mislead anyone here - The RNS states that group cash and trading counterpart deposits were at £12.6 m at year end vs £14.6m a year prior. It's the breakdown though that you need to look at surely? This £12.6m consists of £2.1m in cash which was £14.6m a year prior. Supplemented by £10.5m (2018 - nil) of trading counterpart deposits.

Ami reading this completely wrong? It looks like Yu have access to money but what is actually theirs has shrunk significantly?

Morning all,
A fairly detailed update - so much so that I’m not sure what the results at the end of March will add. I’m probably not alone in feeling rather underwhelmed by that but it does have its positives. It is clear, honest and reasonably explains the contraction in contracts (negative EBITDA and/or low margin ones have been allowed to complete and not be replaced), and highlights the newer ones with better margins and the high growth experienced with these. Looks like the company has its own cash and access to enough to deliver on its growth plans. No mention of a placing or dilution. Growth plans in place.

I’m pretty ok with this.

I’m more than happy with the current sp consolidation. Sharp rises encourage traders which ultimately leads to frustration. Slow and steady wins the race.

Not seen the bid hold this steady after a substantial rise for a loooooong time. Buys are starting to come in now...
Has anyone seen any definite dates for a trading update? From past RNS's I don't expect one quite yet but hope i'm wrong.

No serial ramping (for which I am grateful) - its looking like the holders are prepared to take a chance and hang on to see if/when the funding arrives. (I hold my hands up as one of them). As the more diligent researchers among us have posted, ecommerce is taking off in India and this can only help our cause. On the back of a few decent trading updates - based on gross order value, I believe that the much mooted inflection point is on us and whilst additional funding is clearly needed (and fast) - with the right investment this company may well have a bright future.

But pleased to see that this is holding up relatively well. I can’t stand shameless ramping personally (even if a rising sp would help me) - but I do believe news is coming and the boost will be worth it. I continue to hold

As a current holder I have been on a rollercoaster with this one. What I would do tho is refer any readers to a previous poster that highlighted the 3 consecutive quarters of growth, increased web traffic and awareness of the Koovs brand. A lot of money has already been invested here and green shoots are finally showing. As pointed out previously, Koovs has been here before and promptly 5 bagged on funding news.

No way am I being out for that.
