Off to Portugal in August and staying at the Vila Gale Nautico hotel. Brother-in-law booked it and I suspect he’s not sussed the recent ups and downs of the company. For me - when that holiday comes around TCG will be a lot stronger than they are viewed as now.

If not I won’t have to go away with my sister-in-law :-) - win win!!!!

I’ve looked at shorttracker.co.uk to see what’s up and 5.9% of this stock is currently shorted - I looked at barchart.com to give me an idea on what was happening and all I can deduce is they form an opinion after the event. Currently they reckon this is a massive sell - I’m guessing it hasn’t updated and seen the buying appetite today....

I try and make sense of all this but I fail.....

If I had money left I would still be long tho - certainly at 12p for flips sake!

You seem very doomed gloom seac - I'm still watching but why would any long bail now? Lovely bottom formed, reassuring words from the CEO, everyone is aware that holidays booked are ATOL protected and/or credit card protected and holiday bargains galore. One thing for certain if my holiday wasn't already booked I would be looking for TCG bargains and wouldn't give the current noise a second thought.

I'm probably far too laid back though

Fascinating to watch this - I appreciate both sides of course but the SP is a measure of emotion not the health of a company. Don’t get me wrong the SP tends to reflect reality eventually but the swings on this one....wow

Yesterday afternoon. Could the longs fight back today? If decent offers are received for the airline things could get very interesting here.
For me, if TCG can stay out of the papers for a few days things will start to look very different

Why some people are saying this is going to go under when they have lots of interested buyers in their airline? Not possible offers but submitted offers. These will be used to pay down debt to give the breathing space to restructure.
If I was in private equity I would be rubbing my hands together.

Shutting most high street stores would save a fortune for a start

With liquidity to get the company through the summer there is surely time for this ship to turn around. I’m with the bulls on this one. Particularly when you look at the background with CITI supposedly in cahoots with FOSUN who are increasing their shareholding!!

Could it really be true?

No-one can deny this company is behind their own schedule however it is now priced as it was before funding news - that is priced to failing/or be bought up very cheaply. Reality is that in the first 3 months of this year sales are 67% up (i hope i've got that right from the RNS) and sales ARE increasing. All reports say that investment is required to acquire customers at this early stage AND that is happening. Organic growth IS happening. Finances from FLF IS happening and one of the biggest retail moguls in India will own 29.9% of this company with one of his own daughters as a director.

Daddy does not want to see his daughter fail and the synergies with FLF will help with that - we don't have too much clarity regarding these synergies currently - but 7 concessions and looking to expand gives an idea.....

For clarity - I am a current holder and do believe a corner is being turned. Ismay well be that further investment is needed but certainly not for a while yet.

I did ok on this share 3 years ago when it shot up to 80p. The tip was in the Daily Mail I think in the new year shares to watch section. I watched it for a couple of months I then jumped i when it started moving higher. Did ok of course but would/could have done better!

Now I hold as I have reinvested

Here. Can’t deny it’s a decent entry price albeit not one that I would suggest makes up more than 25% of their portfolio. Waiting for the bounce here
