the supermarkets can make more returns for their ( the supermarkets) investors having premier as an independent. When premier runs out of money subsidising the supermarkets, they just go for another rights issues and let the premier shareholders pick up the tab.

how could there be a profit warning when profit targets have not been given. all we know is the company is saving some money through cost cutting, but this has already been spent. Tesco looks like want some of the savings as they see a very weak company who can help tesco's bottom line.

looks like a problem brewing here. tesco have cut back on so many ambrosia products, leaving not much on the shelves. we already had ambrosia sales drop around 15% in the first quarter half, will this get worse. Are tesco refusing to pay higher price and are putting pressure on premier to drop the price. waitrose are now selling ambrosia custard and rise cans below 50p, this is after premier said the reason for the sales fall was the retail price going from 50p to 60p. too early to commit new money to this stock, this stock is not out of the weak position is has been and still is.
