why would it go in another direction. The like for like sales and profit is down from 2 years ago. Darby has took full advantage of bad numbers from previous 2nd quarter and made his look better for this time around ( weather effect was more to do with this rather than something magic). All the results has done is to ensure the share price did not collapse in low 30s or even 20s. Darby still need to prove this company can get better, market has taken this as a dead cat bounce, so we will be around 40p until xmas trading, if he can show a improving trend for the xmas trading then we will leave the 40p mark.

there is shareholder loans that pay interest on a compound basis at a rate of 10% per annun. the year end balance comprises loans of 37.7m and rolled up interest of �3.8m. Premier would get 49% if this got paid back.Premier has written this all off from pfd balance sheet. the article was not correct in the guardian regarding the current trading at hovis. The figures quoted were figures for 2016 where a lot of exceptions and write downs were taken in the figures quoted, I believe the correct measure to use is the ebitda and this was as follows for 2016 year end baking business 0.4m milling business 1.2m Looks like the figure for 2017 is going to be a lot better given the confirmation by darby at the conference call that hovis is doing well and he did not see the article applied to hovis, but may do for kingsmill only. valuations are usually 10x ebitda, so depends on ebitda for 2017 which hopefully will be higher then the 2016 value.

the barbaric butchering of the share price by MMs is behind us for the moment, but we have been here before many many times only for another event to occur to cause the same slaughter. There was no mention of the help from the weather in the report. The weather has been milder in oct/nov, if same in December and the new year, what will happen to the sales and profit.

darby's last chance saloon on thursday. If he does not delivery then there will be a lot more making the same statement as it will be green lights to market to crush the shares. Fear is darby has not got any ammunition to get this going and will try to fool everyone with fancy graphs etc. BUT the die hard darby lovers will keep going even when the lights are long out

took you a very long time to notice what most have known for years. This is not fit the purpose for an investment. Only good for bond holders, pensioners, employees ( not all, remember 50 got shafted by Darby), banks, supermarkets etc. Rights issue must be on the wall if the results are bad next week

darby has not got beever the clown to protect him. the new chairman starts next week, so we'll see how long darby lasts. personally need to consolidate management to save money, get rid of darby and put the current ceo of knighton in charge of premier, he can't do any worse than darby.
