There has been a significant short close last few days. Down from 13.9 to 13.2%... I bought in this morning at 21.6
why the drop today ? Tullow is looking a good investment at 176p.
Morning all, what's people's views on tullow debt currently. I think the company has a good outlook but that debt pile is pretty scared.
Anyone know if Legal & General has a pension deficit ? and does it have any outstanding debts ? (I assume its a very cash positiv company with no debt ?) thanks
Jambon, Gillpat etc all the best fellas... life goes on. I took a huge loss today.
Quick question ? I sank lots into Carillion at 230p and down... is there any point in even trying to recover anything or is it all gone ? I am certain it's all gone. But worth contacting liquidators?
"Illbetabuck" - very wrong. Contracts are assets for Carillion, they are certainly not liabilities. You read to much waffle in the papers and believe Carillion are sat on hundreds of loss making contracts, simply not the truth.
I 100% agree with Gillpat. If you are unsure what to do right now... do nothing ! Wait and reflect over the weekend.
My figure is wrong - should be 1.2 million
It's Maths ;-)
p.s - The Uk has the highest % of population living abroad within the EU - 4.9 million... ouch... still I am sure we hold the ace of spades ;-)
Get real !.. 48% of us did not vote for this... why should we get around the table for the good of what you voted for... typical selfish view.
Down -5.9% is actually pretty reasonable considering it went ex-div. looking to buy in if it drops a bit more.
I sold out at 232p. Great rise over the last few days. Good luck all.
Get in .... up 3.5% now.. why the rise ?
I amback in LGEN today at 208.... looking for a rise to around 225p over next few months.
Ha.. you got me there Matt ;-) long term this is still a great share to hold, my view remains the same. I needed some cash so had to sell out.
Morning all - I sold out at 189p, not sure if that was a great move or not really. There has been a very nice rally over the last week so took profit, will probably buy in again around 170p to 175p if it goes that way again.
Yeah with you there Matt. LGEN is a very well run company and hugely profitable. I see some uncertainty for sure over next few weeks/months but long term this is a good opportunity to buy a stock that is down on its luck.
I am going to call a rise today - 173 to 175p at close. This received a kicking last few days and should (hope :-) ) bounce today...
