Johnny19…..I don’t think it was inevitable. Its all very well the company saying they believe in their contractual rights over and over but then the company committing to a legal challenge is something else. If they were not confident, would the company risk losing £135m plus legal costs plus reputation etc.

Yes, why would you think the company are happy to give 53m back? They already have that money. Plus they are asking for interest. Maybe if they are successful with the claim they seek damages for company reputation and investor loss. If we win, can we seek a class action as investors against the DHSC - it’s obvious the main fall in MCAP is due to the dispute.

Got to wonder why this counterclaim was left so late but then I don’t know the process involved. Otherwise I’m sure it would have helped with votes?! Or perhaps they already have the YES votes available for AGM resolutions which means they can now crack on with this. Just odd being so close to the AGM when most will have voted by now.

You are right, I haven’t read it or listened to the WHO briefing. Up until yesterday evening the market or news outlets couldn’t care less. Hence why Vix is red and Novacyt is at the same Share price and MCAP as it was 2 years and 4 months ago. Let that sink in.

Roche developed three types of tests for monkeypox and announced these 3 weeks ago to the day. Meanwhile, Novacyt still have nothing and using it to try and sound relevant to push votes. Who briefing will just be on the new name.

Baby Huey…..I still think the website is a massive improvement to what excited previously. It’s no Amazon but a direct sales platform to end user was never expected. Maybe it is cheap and cheerful but it does the job and the majority of visitors really won’t care too much. Only people that notice these things are probably web & content designers.

Valju….yes, there’s definitely an RNS coming next week as an AGM is planned on 21st. One way or another, quorate or not, there will be something.

Now if people are getting excited about Novacyts tweet on Monkeypox, one, it’s self serving for the board to try and get some votes and two, any spike will be small (perhaps 5-10 percent) and short lived returning red after 20 minutes. With a recession looming, fed decision tonight, market crashing, you can be sure that any rises in sp will be sold into. Not scaremongering, just a little reality.

Gizmo…….no one cares about the AGM. They know that at the first time, the AGM will not be quorate. The second time, they will get their votes. It’s extremely unusual for resolutions not to be passed off. We will still be stuck with a useless board and CEO. People are stuck here for the next 2 and a half years hoping that by then DA and the rest of the board will be ramping their LTIPs because if anything’s guaranteed, it’s that the board of companies always look after themselves and especially on AIM.
