There's been a lot of chat on here today, so apologies if i've missed it, but I can't help thinking that SD has been directed to somehow get better liquidity on the ASX, which long term will improve the SP. He's done it by delivering not bad news, but a reminder that there is potential risk, its created a small sell-off which has the ability to improve stock holding down under. Feels like a necessary bump in the road, rather than unmitigated disaster.

Meeting finished thinknibe other shareholder Nick Helyer I think . Made point SB took too much delivered little , happy with jv and mid east contract still ongoing.

Given the length of time passed and the gradual reduction in risk here, this feels like a great opportunity to top up or get in . We know that the pipeline is significant, we know that the ME contract discussions are progressing satgisfactorily, the downside is so slim now. . potential upside is in mutliples.(My opinion only, DYOR)

The FT article is short but interesting, it could easily be a tactic to dissuade others from involvement in a counter bid too, but I suspect that it is wishful thinking. One would hope that Wood has spent sufficient time working out how they can continue alone as an organisation, as the bid level is already stupidly low. My understanding is that the financial impact of the FCA investigation is not thought to be significant

Sidara made a nonbinding conditional proposal in April to buy the crisis-hit company for £242mn, or 35 pence a share, and has until July 28 to make a firm offer, walk away or get an extension. The deadline has already been extended several times.

Givn the AGM on Monday, not unreasonable to expect an RNS tomorrow, even un-RNSworthy news on Monday also likely to push this up. I've done a fair amount of research on these guys in he last couple of days, and whilst I'm down right now, I can see this being very interesting over the next few weeks and months. One of their biggest issues seems to have been about getting info out to the market in general. Their social media, website and linkedin profiles need some work, so my view is that any news is likely to push things north. DYOR.

I use freetrade and I'd not realised until purchasing these shares that if I want to sell, i can't place a limit sell order to enough decimal places on their system. If i wanted to sell at say 0.000195, i couldn't do it, you are only left with an option of hitting sell and crossing your fingers that a decent price will execute. I could place a limit sell at 0.0002, but frankly if it goes over 20 I'm looking to hold for a while longer. anybody else have this issue?

I wouldn't take the word of anybody on here. However, I would read the most recent RNSs particularly the prospectus and the section on risk, it gives a good understanding on what you might be getting into and the potential risk reward situation. I would say that if I had £10k spare I would be investing a good chunk here, but that's what I would do.
