I unfortunately never knew Alan, which I count to my loss. I have always invested in the big boys, Exxon, Shell, BP and Hess, yet I have noted the respect that Alan had within the industry. The almost reverence of some of the LTH, and I hope that this comes off for us all, and we all get to pop a cork or two in his memory
