Or in other words how long do we have to increase our holdings? Degsy, I think you have read the situation correctly, if the bigboy we are locking horns with at present walks, the sp will tank, yet if that happens, it may present a buying opportunity whilst the floor opens to those locked out at present! You also make a good point about holding within an ISA.

PI, I think I agree with you, £1 a share would make me ecstatic, yet I will be happy with a fraction of that. To get to £1 or more would take a lot of luck.

Some on here seem to be looking for a mega deal, yet the sheer size of the resource is in billions of oil. It is possible that the deal offered could, I stress, could be lower than is sought? A deal will be offered, let us hope it is the right one!

Ironic, given the prospective quantities, is the deal we are looking at just simply too big for one major? What say you?

Glenalmond, thank you for your reply, I have been in this share for a long time, have seen the 7 for 1 come and go, seen my mountain crumble to a nut Meg, bought back in and taken my options at 40p. Don't look at this board very much, but glad to see things are progressing. Am pleased that this is only the start, and we have more strings to our bow. Will be buying more, when opportunity arises. My main concern is that the mine will come on line at about the same time as my investment in the oil company pays off, a quandary for me as to which to invest in first! Lol!

Are there not other prospects within the licence areas? Are we only dependent on the one mine?
