Good morning all,
I attempted to get people thinking yesterday about the level at which they would sell out. I note that their was a certain amount of resistance to my posts. Any takeover is like a game of chess, you have pieces that you move, countering the moves of the other parties. So you have the shareholders of both target and aiming companies and the respective bod's. In order to influence any action, you need 10% of stockholders to band together. Thus I suggested holders of a certain number of shares, band together. This was negatively viewed.
I also suggested that we not sell cheaply, some, no name no pack drill, would sell at 20p, other attempted to ridicule the idea that we could, or should attempt to influence the sell price, if too low. If you do not think of these things now, you stand a good chance of being picked off at a cheap price. I do not know this chairman, I hope he get's the best deal for all, not just the bod. I have other companies that I need to keep an eye on, and thus hope I have sown the seed and it germinates, good Luke to us all
