Woahhh RichardBeach1, hope you aren't encompassing me within "same BS comments on here every day...", that would be upsetting.
I want the board to up their game by communicating a bit more adventurously than just meeting their bare legal obligations.
Baffling how a communications company just doesn't authentically communicate.

For my 100th post on lse, I am going to ask again -

Steve F is obsessed with metrics and that's why I want to hear more from him - he'll know exactly what's going on

What I want to know is:
for every £ they invest right now - in the context of their "new" direct routing model - does it still return around 73p of gross margin
Because whilst that doesn't sound too good at first sight, with LoopUp's previous model that return would recur, substantially, for a long time - that's where the current ARRR comes from I think and that's what's got me hooked here

^ this is a similar point to what jointhedots was musing a few posts ago. Basically what might look modest right now could actually mean the emergence of some very good results

I suspect that this switch in business model means they're also having to switch up their metrics and find new ones to assess their performance . Maybe POD etc doesn't work so well with the new model. I bet they're sat musing all this themselves

Jokes aside Pokerchips - and your temporal journeys in time too - the company stated as part of AR36 that they ascribe to the QCA code. The QCA article titled "Why Shareholder Engagement is Vital for QCA Companies" gives you the essence rather than the script and it's quite good. I'm saying LoopUp's board stand in stark contrast to that, probably because they're trying to buy time to prove their new concept: switching to a model based on direct routing for Teams. It's a mega shift and it could still be a mega opportunity, but only time will tell. I wonder whether they are just taking times to gather their thoughts. More POD data would be useful - Steve F frequently emphasised this in 2019 as one of their key metrics but all's gone quiet. Gonna have to wait and see if it still features - in the formal results - in July..... shame.

they don't take charge of their relationship with shareholders like they used to. Back in the days where Lady Judge was on the board (corporate governance pro who clearly contributed a lot) they used to communicate/ provide presentations and be vocal. Post-judge, their effectiveness on that front is bad. Board-shareholder relations just don't seem like a priority for them

But is the key question here: once this shorting game ends.. and after they've stopped eliminating all the buys... and stop slapping us down by ensuring the SP closes down as many days as they can make happen... then the potential upside here looks huge? Healthy company with hyper growth + absence of shorts + more strong results = big upside?

When Stew asks where all the shares are coming from (definitely onto something with that question) I suspect what's going on is the shorts are buying shares part of the way back up, then as the share price rises, they wait for new buyers to come in they repeat the same selling and buying process to control this SP's movement within the 70 - 85p range.
Rinse and repeat. You could do that with the 2% they hold and it looks like that is what's trapping us in this circular tumble dryer pattern

They lower the bid, raise the ask, then put the selling pressure on for it to drop

Why do we keep seeing these "trickle trades" - look at 11.24 today, 12 trades of nominal amounts went through the books, 75p and 77p. This happens frequently, whenever someone wants the price to move up or down. It's a familiar pattern and a tool someone is using regularly on this share to budge it up and down
