"our BoD need to start communicating with shareholders more regularly"
they don't take charge of their relationship with shareholders like they used to. Back in the days where Lady Judge was on the board (corporate governance pro who clearly contributed a lot) they used to communicate/ provide presentations and be vocal. Post-judge, their effectiveness on that front is bad. Board-shareholder relations just don't seem like a priority for them
Others will crop up and say "the board does communicate, as they are legally required to do." But that's a bare minimum isn't it, superficial rather than deep engagement. Minimal transparency. Not reassuring. The other suggestion recently has been "they are working hard in the background," "they are looking to under-promise and over-deliver." ....
I can't feel a pulse through an RNS
Steve, Mike, you guys alive?
